First hospital job (pre-nursing student)
I can see a licence requirement? Thats suprising. Some phlebotomy programs require medical terminology as a pre req. In worst case you can get one in 4 weeks to 4 months. Plus in order to get licenced you need to do 100 draws and etc which would give you some hands-on-experience I think that would guarantee your phlebotomy place. I wish you the best.

2.35 GPA too low for Acc Bacc BSN Program?
very well worth to try. reasoning is logical. in most places these exceptions are rare but not impossible. some ask additional minimum test scores to meet. in the end you wont lose much to try. ask and they will direct you.

First hospital job (pre-nursing student)
While doing this keep an eye on patient care tech and similar positions that would give you a greater advantage in means of job experience before an RN position.

Failed from clinical
This is a conflict situation and handle it as such. Ask your instructor about it first. Accordingly with what he says you can plan your next action. Going to the highest authority sounds strong however may make things harder for you to resolve. In the end it is the instructors job to pass you or fail you. Try to work it out with your instructor first. If you feel that there is a fault play somewhere then move on to a higher level as you think your right is being violated.

Stress, Anxiety, depression, want to venture out where less stress is
I agree with apple. There may be an underlying depression or anxiety disorder to be treated first. Ask family and friends about their opinions on your behavior lately. Yourself may think it is because of the job but your family may diagnose more. In your situation here is what I would do: I would talk to my supervisor and HR department or my director about my issues. I would not miss anything out. And see what their offer would be. Sounds like you are a little anxious about critical responsibility and bit of a perfectionist in nature. Do not feel guilty about thinking to leave however respect them too. After hearing the state you are in with your current position they may have an offer that would bring mutual gain.

i feel dumb
From a different view in the case you learned something new and he did not :) You can not know everything. When I was a computer technician I remember learning new things from kids. When I said "wow thats cool I didnt know that" they gave me the stare :) This probably gave them encouragement to become hackers you would think lol.

A totally different career path please
You very well can teach. I agree that you should not waste all you have learnt to get your bsn. Wages are not as high but teaching is a different path for you.

Was I completely in the wrong?
It is important that you are aware of management and conflict styles of people you work with. Around some people you need to be on your toes. Not that you are weak or possibly wrong. Working with more conservative or aggressive managers you need to fit their styles a bit. I would not take this personally and look at it from a hate love perspective. To enhance your coping styles you need a professional point of view. If you were able to "frame" the situation accordingly maybe you could have reached to your desired outcome. If I were you I would do some research on personal and conflict styles and negotiation framing. This is in the end an experience under your belt and will guide you in another tricky situation. Get yourself employed and value this experience. gl.

ADN in Savannah GA or Columbia SC ?
Thank you for your opinions. I have heard that GA education system was not that great (for the kids I researched that a little while ago) I will look more into ADN programs in SC. I got in touch with Midlands Technical College Columbia SC and found out that they had a waiting list. Is it that hard to get into a program lately? I heard that the demand has risen to medical carrers as a result of the mini recession but would it make it harder to find programs to get into? edt: I also will call tcl today to get more information. Thank you very much for directing. ( it is a bit far from both cities I was considering but I wouldnt have a problem moving there as long as we can find employment)

ADN in Savannah GA or Columbia SC ?
Hi, I am a 32 year old male holding two masters degrees and want to become a nurse. Yes! I want to do something noble and worthy with my life. My bachelors is in Economics from overseas and I completed an MBA and a Master of Human Resource Management program in the US. I have been looking for universities and colleges in Savannah, GA and Columbia, SC for an associate program in nursing which would allow me to become an RN. The ones I was able to find were offering BSN and MSN programs. Right now I do not have a 4+ year time cushion and funds to make it through 4+ years. (Married, father of 2) If I can become an RN i am very sure that I will want to run for an MSN. If you could please help me with some school names in or around mentioned cities offering associate degrees in nursing and your opinions about the path to take that would be some outstanding help. Also would hospitals/clinics support dedicated individuals with job placement ( any job within the hospital) during their course of study for ADN, BSN or MSN? Thank you in advance. Kindest Regards Savas
