Your nose will get used of it. Remember olfactory fatigue from anatomy?
  3. Grammar freaks belong behind a desk or book.
  4. I am currently 24 but when I start the program this fall I will be 25. Since the program takes 2.5 years to complete, I will be around 27 years old when I graduate . Oh well like hugoseal posted, age is just a number.
  5. Sounds very exciting!!! But ya thank you for the heads up, I plan on reading both books during the summer to help keep those subject fresh in my head. This semester I ended up taking every general eds. course left and none of them had anything to do with nursing!!!! Anyways congrats on getting through your first semester, those 4 left will fly by super fast. I heard scary stories about pharmacology, but I also heard those same stories about patho and micro and both were a joke! The fun starts when you start doing clinicals; that I am looking forward to!!
  6. Hi iluvpatho, I haven't been on here in a while and I noticed you left me a message. For some reason I don't know why I can't reply, so I figured I'll post here. How is the nursing program for you?? I actually got wait listed since I was taking micro and patho together when I applied. So I finally get to start this upcoming Fall, I just hope it is as hard as I hear because this semester was soooo borrrring!!!!
  7. Don't let that letter stop you from doing anything you really want to do! Consider it a boost to push you further in getting in.
  8. Wow lucky you! Ya My fall is going to be crazy compared to yours. I am also taking RST but its the 3500 course. I am already stressed out for patho! lol
  9. Ya your teas score seems high enough. As long as your GPA is up there as well, then you have nothing to worry about. What are you planning to take in the Fall or are you just taking general ed classes? Thank you and good luck to you as well. Can't wait to start the real test .
  10. lol your not being nosey ,I actually took the teas twice. First time I took was in March and I got a 75 overall % because I panicked on the Math part and ran out of time. I was super furious about that mistake because I am really good in math. So I actually retook the teas just yesterday and I knew I aced through it all since every question was the same exact thing. Science was my favorite part, and Math was a revenge for me. lol But I heard so many na 80 is good enough and people are getting in with a 75-78. So idk we shall see in a couple of weeks then I can relax for a lil bit then have no life again! The real test starts with the nursing program since I have a friend who just started last fall and its a brain workout.
  11. Oh and I forgot to mention that a competative GPA is 3.7 and for teas it depends since each term it goes up and down. But it is around 84-87.
  12. I started last fall. To best honest with you it all depends on your GPA, teas score, and how long you have been at madonna or how many semester hours you have taken. But ihearing from many sources, it is quite easy to get in but not as easy as other nursing schools since Madonna is well known. But hopefully we get in soon cause I am sick of waiting lol and thanks for the patho support.
  13. Glad to see more Madonna students on here! I also just applied to the upper division. Got everything completed and turned in except for 2 classes which are patho and micro. I am planning on taking them both in the fall. So I am going to have no life during that semester:uhoh3:. haha but idc as long as I get in as all that matters. Anyways good luck everyone! As a transfer, I really think Madonna is a great school!!!
  14. I am taking it on March 19, and I heard they ask stupid questions on the science section. Know your rocks and clouds. Know the conversion from C to F, foil method, fractions. I am studying from the study manual and from other sources cause most of this stuff is taught in middle school but people do bad cause they forget or just to worried!
