One more week of freedom remains!

I am glad to see I am not the only one wondering when we will receive our final schedule. As far as financial aid goes I have only received an email confirming they have my information. I am considering going down to the fin aid office and asking them if they need any additional information. In my confirmation email it did note that it takes a month or two for processing. I don't think there is anything you missed (unless we both missed something ), so I will keep you all up-to-date on any news I receive. I did get my needle stick health insurance card in the mail, so we are progessing to the beginning of our semester!

I was actually wondering the same thing, Miss Beth. I was hoping to see if they posted it on the website but I have yet to see it.

LSU has been my number one from the beginning. Although, I did apply to two other schools and got accepted by both as well. I even have one more final left at Delgado, that now at this point I don't care about because I am going to have to retake the class at LSU. I knew that LSU attracted the brightest and best of all the schools in the area so the competition was going to be tough. I believe that anyone who got an interview alone should feel proud of yourself because you are a shining star.

Congrats Cpitch2010! Don't worry clssygrl80 your letter may be sent out later. I am sure they sent out acceptance letters like they did last year. Cpitch2010, is your advising session group A in June?

The letter I recieved said that I must respond within 10 days from the date on the letter with $50. My letter was dated on April 30. So I am either taking the money tomorrow or Friday just to be on the safe side. My advising will also be done in the middle of June, so if anyone wants to meet up then let me know. I cant wait to meet my future classmates! I am also happy I can let my husband relax now that I know I am in. Good luck to all!

I am sorry for the delayed post. I was at my mothers house and was waiting for my husband to get home so he could check the mail. I got my letter and the response.....I am starting LSUHSC SON in the fall!!!! I am beyond estatic! Check those mail boxes because your letters should be coming soon. :dncgbby: I am happy I finally have a reason to put the dancing baby on a post!

I am local. I live in Metairie. We do need to meet up with all this stress and excitment we have all gone through together, if it werent for this site I probably would have driven my husband crazy.

Either way, I probably will go get a margarita (or two) tomorrow!

I haven't heard anything, and the suspense is driving me nuts. I will post something as soon as I receive a response. I can't believe August is 3 months away!

beejaycee, I am sure your right. In my nervous mind I construed that because the student would be interviewing me that they some how had their own questions. I think the instructor told me she would not be doing the interview but the students had questions for me. I some how misinterpreted it into they came up with these questions. Thanks for clearing that up, now I feel like a big dork.

As far as acceptance letters goes, they probably didn't tell me when they would be sending them out, because they are not planning to accept me.

I am not trying to withhold any information about the interview I just honestly went blank. The part of the interview I remember was when I started to relax and they allowed me to ask the interviewers questions. There seemed to be many interviews going on simultaneously. One thing I can say for sure, I was suprised at how kind everyone was in the interview. Not that I thought they would be mean but the students seem to be extremely friendly and nice. There seem to be many students conducting interviews so who you get is a draw.

Hey clssygrl80, I think we had our interview scheduled at the same time. Ten was my time but I got to interview early.

Thank you beejaycee and cpkrn2b2011, it is just that I will be crushed if I don't get into LSUHSC care. My mind just went blank in the interview. Apparently at that moment the ability to form coherent sentences eluded me. If my gpa was stronger I wouldnt be so stressed. I was hoping to wow them in the interview. All I can do at this point is hope for the best. Cpkrn2b2011, I actually was leaving the building at around that time. So we may have passed one another.:)

I did awful in my interview! My mind went blank and I was shaking. I had the nicest people interview me and I feel like what I said made no sense. I hope everyone's went better than mine.
