I've been volunteering at PCH for over a year and I completed my preceptorship at PCH. And I also didn't even get called for a interview. I was so bummed!

I thought I would start this thread for anyone who is trying to get into the GAPP program at Phoenix Children's Hospital

Hi, I recently applied for the GAPP that started this month and wasn't accepted. Any tips from those who got into GAPP? Pediatrics is where I want to be and advice would be helpful! Thanks.

Hey PineappleCrush- I e-mailed our FOR because I need to leave early one of the days and she referred to our LC as D8. I'm really confused because I e-mailed one of the advisors and she said that I was in D4 and that the schedule for NUR 394 had made a mistake putting D7-12. I'm so lost! So I guess we are in D8

Has anyone looked at the Junior 1 calendar that is under NUR 394 on blackboard? It has only D7-12 on it and I was assigned D4 as my learning community and it's not on there. I'm a bit confused.....

Ka2010- Where did you get $6600 from? In the packet from the workshop it says $3,537

Does anyone know when we are suppose to turn in the insurance form and the health clearance form? Do we turn it in at the meeting or sooner?

cna to crna- You have nothing to worry about! You're apply with a 5.7! The advisors were saying how the cutoff score is going to be low for the summer cycle.

I talked to ------ last week and thats what she told me. I know that really increases everyones chance to get in! But then again for all we know everyone has high scores and that would suck. Hopefully the cutoff will be pretty low. And I know...I will be so angry if I am like one of the 25 people who doesn't get in!

Hey everyone, I talked to one of the advisors and apparently only 85 people applied! Which is way better then having 300 people apply for 60 spots.

thats so cool. yeah i started taking classes for a minor in family and human development. after this semester i'll have my minor...so thats cool i guess. i just wish it would hurry and be april already!
