  1. lol.....
  2. I would think so....
  3. Nice story. Should be on a nurses column or something....
  4. I knew someone with a full-time, kids, and they survived through nursing school. I think it all comes down to time management skills and taking as many prerequisites before actually getting accepted.
  5. Great advice. I still have yet to take the HESI A2 for entrance.
  6. Thanks for the sources!!!!
  7. Hopefully Micro isn't as tough as Chemistry, which was tough.
  8. It's nice to see how all of us can come together to help each other out as fellow nurses and prospective nurses. I hope it's this welcoming in my workplace.
  9. I heard nursing school basically prepares you to take the N-CLEX. You gain your knowledge and true nursing skills by actually working. I have several RNs in my family and they all say working as a nurse is almost nothing like they teach in nursing school.
  10. You could have taken a Sociology course online during the summer, bussing it out in about a month. That "C" may not hurt you depending on the sciences, but I think you made the wrong decision and should have retaken the course. Social Science courses are easy.
  11. I would much rather go to school at night as well....with a part-time on the side of course.
  12. My cousin is a RN and she works in the dialysis department. She told me after working her first year everything became 2nd nature and she often questions why she is paid so much for an easy job.
  13. Thanks for the book advice.
  14. Congrats on the new job!!!!
