  1. I usually have to find a classical music station for background noise and have a photo of the end prize, like a pic of the kids, or a car or house you are working towards. Sounds crazy, I know, but sometimes I have to see my family because they motivate me more than pretty much anything. A prayer helps, too. Good luck.
  2. You can do it. No worries. I am big on index/self-made flash cards-just an idea. God bless & best wishes.
  3. I get so excited, then nervous, and back to excited with an occasional OMG! Any of you want to tell what gets you through the overwhelming weeks of study and testing?
  4. Well-said. Encouragement is a wonderful motivational tool! Best wishes in your educational career, too. I have learned that if God brought me to it, He will bring me through it. Just need to keep that in mind more often, myself. Have a great week.:)
  5. You are right, of course. I guess the fact that it is already overwhelming sometimes makes me nervous for things to come, it is a life-long dream of mine to get this degree...I am decades behind getting started, too. One step/class at a time. Thanks.
  6. Anyone have brain-stretching techniques to share? I fear I am reaching my limit, will the brain actually expand enough for a nursing degree? I'm just finishing prerequisites now.
