Yes I agree that a good program should not only consider the interview aspect. I really hope we hear something by next week! Decatur is close to me; I hope we will be co-eds in the near future :) Happy thoughts only!

ashfost yes CSU was the only school I applied for so far, however I am open to looking at other schools as well. I am really determined to have this degree under my belt! If you know of any other good schools out there please let me know. Do you know how CSU goes about selecting their students? I heard last year it was the first 20 to interview. Have you interviewed yet? Thank You!

@PalmHarborMom I think they are dealing with 2nd degree students first....seems like everyone who was denied or accepted applied to the 2nd degree program.

Looks like they decided to deal with the second degree students first......I really hope we find out by today!!! @fuelforlife congrats!!!!

@USFBless, thanks alot!!! I really hope I get in...they have e-mailed some ppl that I met here online and they didnt get in....but as for me and some others we still havent found out.

I doubt we will hear anything until Thursday school being out for the Holiday.

@palmharbormom I was thinking the same thing.....some people received emails already and so far it hasn't been good.

@afffinity I too feel I won't get in based off some post but girl you still have a good chance of getting in based on ur passion nd academic achievements .....don't give up on bad days remember!

@USFBless congrats on your acceptance!!! Im still waiting to hear back after two weeks for USF school of nursing....If you don't mind me asking what was your overall gpa and science gpa? I have a 3.75 gpa do you know of any ppl with entry gpas like mine? I really hope I get in and thanks for replying!!!

@very did usf tell u why u didn't get in the first time? My overall is a 3.7 and my science is a 3.8 Im worried now lol

@Anxious89 I too applied and I have heard from other members on allnurses.com that some ppl at USF were turned down with a 3.9 gpa....but some where also admitted with a 3.5....I know if your a transfer student you have to have at least a 3.65 gpa to even apply. I heard from the nursing admissions department that USF looks at first attempt grades for prerequisites gpa, overall gpa, and personal statement(counts for 40%) I hope this helps. Let me know if you get in and I will do the same!

@PalmHarborMom thanks for the reply I spoke with the admission department and was told that they look at first attempt grades as well....when did you apply I think the criteria has changed a bit????

I recieved an email from USF saying that my application status has been moved to committee and that I was moved to the eligible applicant list....I don't know what that means exactly???? Is there any USF students that could explain if this is a e-mail that is sent to everyone? what does this e-mail mean? Thanks to all who reply!!!
