  1. I've heard many horror stories about nursing school Is it true that you really never have time for friends or social events? What was your expeirencelike

I was just wondering if anyone that attended a 4 year BSN program ever had any free time I hear a lot of horror stories about nurses students having no life what so ever outside of nursing school, is that true? Did you ever have any time to take part in university functions/games/hanging out with friends Any additional comments about this type of program
  3. Does working nights have a big impact on your family life? Do you think you spend enough time with your children/partner? Do you think it negatively impacts your family life?   4. I've heard that the pay for Florida nurses is very low, is this true? Do you know what the starting salary of a new grad would be like? Also the salary of a nurse practioner (neonatal)? Any additional comments...
  5. I know the first 2 years you do your prereqs and then you enter nursing school, but does that mean you are techinically only in nursing school for 2 years? What exactly is the time line your the last 2 years in nursing school? Im a little confused about that part, i know you go to school during the summer but do you get a "vacation" from nursing school later in the year or are you in school year round? Any additional comments about a BSN program will be greatly appreciated thanks!
