I actually have no desire to do peds! I am aiming for a general family NP, but I think the clinicals may open my eyes to a more specialized area! I am considering the CRNA or maybe the Oncology specialty, but I really just need to get my feet wet and go from there!

Yogi, did you really hear that they are meeting NEXT week?? I am not sure why I received the email, It was about an extension for financial aid essays and fafsa docs. "if you would like to have your financial aid award information before you have to accept your admission offer, you will need to submit your SON Financial Aid application and FAFSA (Duke SON code E00162) within 1 week of receiving the offer for admission. As long as we receive your SON Financial Aid application and FAFSA within that week, we will have your financial aid award information to you at least 1 week before you have to accept admission."

Oh Spring! I am obsessively checking status and emails! I almost passed out when I got that Financial aid email. Did everyone get that? I finished my finals today and have NOTHING to do for week but dwell on DUKE! I am going to drive everyone insane!

Is everyone just emailing their Scholarship essays??

I've heard that the committee is meeting sometime during the week of Aug. 9-13!! I wonder what time on Monday we will find out, I don't want to spend the day stalking my mailbox!!

For A&P 2 ALL online, do you do the labs at home?? Cadaver and all?

Oops! Forgot to add that my interview went much better than anticipated. I knew that I would be super nervous, so I am satisfied that I did NOT have a total breakdown mid interview! I believe that there are phone interviews being conducted today and tomorrow, and then one last Duke Day on August 6th. The cycle is winding down! Luckily I have a few finals to keep my mind occupied these next two weeks or I would be a mess! Any word on how many total applicants/interviews there were this time around?? GOOD LUCK TO ALL- I think there is room for all of us! P.S. I changed my name from tiny dancer incase you are confused!!

Has everyone taken Microbiology Lab and lecture?? It's my final prereq, and I find it quite daunting. The Duke Website says LAB Preferred, 3-4 credits.....

Does anyone know how many people apply and how many are accepted??
