Hello, I worked as a nurse 3 years but I have kept my license current. Could anyone tell me how much experience do you need to be a school nurse? will they hire a new grad? I have been reading the forums and seems it would be ok to return to nursing in the school system. Thank you for your opinion

I work as a a home health nurse in a small HH company. I have been asked to recertify a patient who has been getting insulin shots daily in the am in an ALF. The patients daughter is unable to inject her in the mornings. I was trained under the impression that home health is just a temporary service. I am not sure if I should proceed or not, should I just document that I spoke with the daughter and she is unable to do it in the morning? How could ALF personal refuse you inject ?

I 'd love to be accepted into Vanderbilt Psychiatric Mental Health Program,I have a high GPA 3.75 but low GRE, 153 and 155 Reading and Quantitative. I come from a different country and my writing was only 3.5. I am wondering if you guys know anything about the program. Is the admission difficult, how is the program?

did you guys find a job as a school nurse?

I was accepted for Occupational therapy School, I wanted to work in the school system. I have previously applied for school nursing jobs, but just today I was offered the school nurse position. I am not sure what to do. Should I contiune with my OT program, or take the school nurse job.Any advice will be helpful!!!

I recently graduated from Nursing School 06/2012 and I have applied to NCH, Physician Regional and Home health agencies but nobody seems to be hiring new grads. Any new nurses from the Fort Myers, Naples area can you please give me any suggestion? I know there must be around 200-300 new graduates from local colleges and universities, I wonder where they are working. Any help would be greatly appreciated
