  1. Find any way that you can to accomplish your goals. Talk to everyone, networking is something that I am just now learning-it's a shame that I didn't learn it sooner.
  2. LCDR Dan, Hello. 1945 here looking for some advise on my course of assignments over the next few years. can you email me for offline chat?
  3. Sweet are you on facebook? Add me and we can coordinate the trip to San Diego....Carl Hill
  4. Sir, Just wanted you to know I was picked up by the Navy finally. I will be going to ODS 31JAN and then off to San Diego! ENS Hill
  5. I will be in the 31JAN class for ODS, then off to San Diego!
  6. Corpsman3, What was the ER like at Bremerton? Have you been to many ERs? Where is your favorite?
  7. LilbigAl, Did you make a choice? I am also 33 with 4 kids, and I am going back active now that I am a nurse and will be getting my commission. I used to be enlisted prior to nursing school. Let me know.
  8. BigSky, The way I understand how it works is that once you get accepted you call your detailer and you basically talk it out where you want to go, and if they have any openings there. I am in the same boat as everyone else, just waiting for my Kit to be reviewed. I was told today that my kit would go to board in NOV. Who knows how long I'll have to wait for ODS???
  9. It sure seems like it takes a long time after people's kits are submitted to hear back. Anyone else know how long after your kit is submitted until you hear if you are professionally recommended? I am an ER nurse transitioning back to active duty. I have 10 years in the Air Force, however, I have decide that the Navy has better health care! I was hoping to go to ODS earlier this year, not looking forward to Newport in the winter. I have been very intolerant of the cold ever since Iraq. lol
