  16. from what i heard it's the same test, but the questions are not in the same order.
  17. congrats!!!!! the waiting is killing me. i'm so anxious:clown:.
  18. hey sarahbanana, some of the science questions i remembered them asking was about controlled experiment, lithium (know how to draw lithium; protrons etc..) there are three questions about a&p( only one i remember is about the parasymp system). the one picture they have in the ati book about the cycle of rain or evaporation (don't remember exactly what it's called), was on the test. the picture they have of the arrows pointing to different animals, was on there. sorry it's been awhile. that's all i can remember for now:confused:. if i remember more i'll post it. hope this helps:d!!!!
  19. hey sarahbanana, i took the teas and i did not find the science section in the ati book helpful at all. if you have any of your old science lab books, look over them. most of the questions, if i remember, is based off of experiments you did in labs. there are a couple of chemistry questions, a&p questions, physics and general science which is just common sense. also if you have the old net study guide book or know someone who does, try to get a hold of it. it helped me through the english section. good luck:o!!!!!!!
  20. i got accepted into valencia community college's nursing program for the fall of 2011:clown:. i was wondering if anyone else was accepted also for the fall of 2011:nurse:?
  21. i was i got my aa from there and i took class at scc also. i was just accepted into the fall of 2011. i'm taking a break from classes. a friend of mine just finished the np this week. she said there is a lot of reading and it's not that bad if you pay attention. she didn't talk much about the teachers except her clinical instructor was awesome :).
  22. hey everyone, i took the teas awhile ago. there are 4 sections. the best advice i can give you all is to study the math section. there are questions on proportions/ratios, fractions/ decimals, basic algebra, metric conversions, sub and addition. basically it's basic math you haven't seen in a while. ( you can not use a calculator:mad:) the science section is not that bad, the teas study guide doesn't help much with that section, so you have to dig deep and try to remember things you've learned. the english section is tricky, just go with your gut, don't change anything unless you're sure. study sentence structure :). the reading section is easy. if anybody has the net study guide book, it helps. to me this book explained more than the teas book. it was easier to understand. if you do not get a passing score the first time, i heard that it is the same test all the time. try to remember some of the questions that you had a hard time with and write it down as soon as you finish the test. i hope this helps. good luck;)
