  1. The plans vary, they have several options to choose from the health care options you select should be tailored to fit your specific health care needs
  2. Asking the same question, any idea?
  3. This is so frustrating. It has already been a 6 month process, now this
  4. Anyone in the process of boarding to the VA know how the latest freeze affects their job offer? Scheduled verbally for orientation weeks away, but know I'm wondering if I should give up, or keep my hopes up for the positive.
  5. I would give two to three week, then ask if any updates have occurred. You should probably be given an idea or estimation of when your file will be going to boards.
  6. Congrats! I'm not sure what to think at this point. My file went to boards I heard nothing for about 2 weeks, I call nurse recruiter and she says I spoke to you already í ¾í´”, I'm like no. So she goes on to tell me a tentative start date and, rates, and that she has to go back and ask for approval for me to start the date she verbalized to me. Was that an offer? I'm used to an offer or something in writing.
  7. Think about it. Im in the process of having to make the same decisions. Take a pay cut for better benefits. It may not make sense now but in the long run I believe it will definitely pay off.
  8. I was recently selected for a PRN position at a local VA hospital. I have completed all that has been asked of me. To date, no firm job offer has been made. I check USA jobs weekly and qualify for a full time position that is posted. Should I apply for the full time position or wait until I actually get in and search the job boards at that time? Please help!!
  9. Wish I new, my file went to boards yesterday. I just want to know what to expect and start making preparations to start this wonderful journey
  10. No relax it's only one day if your posting is correct and. Keep in mind this process can move fast or slow depends on the nurse managers and or recruiters. I have done all that was required of me and my file will just make it to boards this week. Who knows how long it will be after that process before and official offer is made.
  11. It's been a while since your initial post, what did you decide on?
  12. At what point in the process was salary discussed
  13. I am entering level three, this fall with a completion date of May 2011. If I am correct once you have your LPN, you get right in, last semester we had students from Tampa as well as Manateee county, I'm under the understanding that the rule is for the generic students.
  14. does the applicant pool apply to the transitional program. I was under the understanding, first qualified first admitted? anyone know??
