UMDNJ FNP PROGRAM and PRECEPTORS
No problem. I inquired more in regards to the same concerns you are expressing. If/when I get a response I'll keep you posted.

UMDNJ FNP PROGRAM and PRECEPTORS
Thanks! I e-mailed the faculty advisor for the FNP program and was told "You need to find your own placement." Now I am having second thoughts because I don't want to be in a situation where I cannot advance in my academic studies just because I cannot find a preceptor for my clinical.

UMDNJ FNP PROGRAM and PRECEPTORS
Hey, I was just accepted to UMDNJ's FNP program for the Spring... I will only be going part time and clinicals won't be for a while, however I've been having a difficult time getting this one particular question answered....Does UMDNJ provide students with preceptors, or at the very least provide a list of past preceptors? Hopefully someone here that is currently in the program or has graduated may be able to clarify this great mystery... THANKS!

Quick Tip for ANYONE considering nursing in the military
Hello SFC JIMENEZ, I'm located in North Bergen, NJ (zip code is 07047). Could you please tell me where the closest AMEDD Nurse Recruiter is located. I'm a new grad and am really interested. Thanks!

Dilemma!
Hey everyone... I don't know if many of my fellow new grads would consider this a dilemma... They may even call this a blessing instead, the way the market is for us new graduates... I just graduated this May with my BSN and have an interview lined up next week for an ED position. I have a prior BA in psych and while in nursing school have worked as a crisis screener at my local hospital's ED. Today I was called by my supervisor, urging me to apply for a part time RN position that is available on our psychiatric unit. I don't mind psych but feel there is little clinical use involved in comparison to the ED, or any other areas of nursing. The ED position is no guarantee as I still have yet to even interview, but on the contrary my supervisor has made it seem as if the psych position is mine if interested. My question is, should I apply to the psych position anyway? Or should I wait and see first how my interview for the ED position goes first? I know I should be thankful for not only 1 but 2 potential job offers, I just want to make sure I make the right moves, as I don't want to burn any bridges. Thanks in advance!
