  1. I wonder what the hold up is for you. I really hope you hear something soon. I hate that you are still waiting. Keep us posted.
  2. I am in March COT and will be stationed at Keesler, which I was glad to hear, because I live in Gulfport, MS, the next town over.
  3. Hey, I heard last night at 9 pm. I posted a thread, Just got the call. I am an experienced nurse and was in the nov board.
  4. Yes, this process is a waiting game. Unfortunately, I hate that he is not returning your calls. Maybe post what area you are from in case there are other nurses in your area who have worked with this recruiter or they can give you another good contact number.
  5. Yes. It stands for commissioned officers training.
  6. Hey everyone. My recruiter just called me at 9 pm and told me that I was accepted into March COT and will be stationed at Keesler. I am an experienced RN and my app was in the Nov board. Hope everyone hears their news tonight or tomorrow too. Let me know. I was honestly thinking since I haven't heard yet that I would hear at the end of Jan or Feb.
  7. I got a mass email from my recruiter that she forward from her supervisor. It also said the 23rd. I am telling myself that I will probably hear sometime in February, before the March COT.
  8. I still have not heard anything from my recruiter. Every time I talk with her, she gives me another date. So, still no word whether I was accepted. She told me to call back on Wednesday. I would rather be told that it may take a few months instead of being told to call back all of the time.
  9. Before! Trust me, I started this process in April and I still am waiting.
  10. Completing all of your paperwork is a long process. You need to pursue this if this is what you want.
  11. Good to know that I'm not the only one that hasn't heard. I will be going in as an ICU nurse too.
  12. I am from MS and I am hoping to stay here and get stationed at Keesler. I have been a ICU nurse for 2+ years and I have been in the Air National Guard for the past 13 years as a firefighter.
  13. are you an experienced nurse as well???
  14. Thanks for the reply. My recruiter told me that the people that got their results today were people that haven't heard back from the last board. So, I was getting confused knowing that we've all been awaiting results from the November board. I will not have to go to NTP. My recruiter said hopefully she will know something by this Friday. The waiting continues.
  15. Was your application packet submitted in November? Are you a new grad that has to go to training after COT or are you an experienced nurse? Thanks.
  16. My recruiter just called and said that I will not find out anything until Friday. She said the people that are getting their results today are from a earlier board. Is this the case with ya'll? My application was for the November board.
  17. My husband hasn't heard anything either. We are from MS.
  18. Thank you for sharing your information. Hearing something from someone is better than not hearing something at all. Thanks again.
  19. I think I remember someone posting that you have 7-10 days to get to your base, but don't quote me on that? Alabama to Seattle is a long haul. You will need that week for the drive and to get settled. I can't wait to find out something about Jan. COT. The wait has been forever.
  20. Congratulations, it seems like yesterday that I was reading that you were going to COT; however, I'm sure it didn't feel that way to you. The question that I have for you and any new nurses, is which base did you get on your dream sheet? 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Thanks.
  21. No word from my recruiter either. I am really hoping to hear something today, but if I am honest with myself, I'm not surprised. I don't think that I will hear anything. My recruiter is based out of Baton Rouge, what about yours?
  22. Congratulations! Was your application reviewed in November? Did you get word from your recruiter? When you find out your orders, will you mind posting if you got 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice for duty station? Again, congratulations, I know it has been a long road.
  23. Funny. My husband's first choice is keesler too. We live in Gulfport. He is still waiting to find out about his commission status. But then I guess we'll have to wait again for the orders. Thanks everyone for the replies. I am also wondering how much time is allowed between COT and your first base, to find housing if you do have to relocate?
  24. I was wondering, when you received your orders, did you get your first choice of base locations? Thanks
