I know this is an old post but I just wanted to say that I've been applying for a tech job at hh for about a year now (since I started nursing school) and just recently, a month ago, got hired. it is about who u know IMHO. Buuut, I applied for EEVVEERRYY tech position available and finally got that foot in the door!! Hang in there to everyone who is seeking.... Be patient

i start the 23. r u in ADN? i started reading what the sylabus said was in mod A for all three classes. i dont know what to expect either! but i am very excited and nervous!

thanks for the info. i bought the books seperately, and then returned them and bought the box, u really do save alot of money by buying the box! w the box all u have to buy is the pharm. book and the drug guide. AND! the biggest/best thing about the box is, they are basically ALL in there. without the box u will be driving to the bookstore 7 different time because they never have everything that u need all at once! that is the most frustrating part! the bookstore NEVER HAS IT TOGETHER!

Hey for all of you that have already gone to orientation, do u know the assignments will be posted? i understood them to say we had some due on the first day of class? ALSO how strict do yall think the instructors are going to be on the "white shoes" i bought some nike shox a while ago with a tad of silver and im afraid i will get in trouble the first day of class...dont wana make a bad impression...?

:typingSo... the application for the nursing program at Calhoun keep changing. The more it changes the more confused I get!! I have a few Q's and hopefully those of you out there who are already attending can help me out... - the web site says, math100 is a requirement for all new APPLICANTS, does this mean i have to complete math 100 before i apply? or just before i graduate. because it use to be math 116, then math 100 but before u can get certified, not before application can be submitted. - Does anyone know about the new test that is going into place? my A&P teacher says now not only do they look at your points but you also have to be tested in. any way to study for this? - who is the best teacher to take for micro? - What is the difference between the CNA and RN programs? if i apply to cna, can i just pick up in RN where CNA left off? any help aswering the questions would be wonderful!! i have just recently settled on nursing and now i am trying to get my "plan" on what needs to be done before i can apply. I FEEL SO SCATTER BRAINED!! but i am so so excited!! HELP ANYONE!
