Initially I wasn't anticipating anything until the first week of August because my advisor told me it would be 8weeks. Of course I'm hopeful that it will be sooner, I'm not getting my hopes up!! The deadline was June 1st so eight weeks will be July 27th, we only have one more week to wait. Of course I'm still anxiously awaiting the mail everyday!! Good luck to everyone, not much longer now.

I don't think I'm gunna get crazy about checking my mail until Monday. Once Monday comes it'll be exactly 6 weeks since the application deadline. HOPEFULLY we won't have to wait the whole 8 weeks, I'm going a little stir crazy waiting!!! Good luck to everyone, I hope you all get the letter you're expecting! I'm not sure about the CHM, however I do know that if you received a "D" in humanities it will not count. A D is not a passing grade, therefor you will have to take it again. Once you have received a higher grade for the humanities, that will count towards the point calculation. I know that for the Spring Semester 09, the cutoff was 190.xx points and with each semester the minimum points increases It looks like your best bet would be to re-take humanities and hope for the best!!

FLmom, how is ur first semester going? We were in the same chat before, i had to give up my position for last semester but reapplied this term. Can you tell me what to expect?

Oh, the anticipation is killing me!! If anyone finds out about when orientation is will they post it please? I'm headed out of the country from the 20th-26th of Aug. and everything is already paid for so there's no way I can cancel (not that I would want to!). I'm not in the 220s so I'm scared to death of being rejected-we're all in the same boat! I'm pretty sure we should here in about 2+ weeks, keep those fingers crossed!

The minimum for last semester's application was 190.14 points (or very close to it), so anyone who has a value less than that will not be considered for acceptance. I'm sorry, I would suggest re-taking the NATS and trying next semester! Sorry! Has anyone heard of the day that acceptance letters are sent out? I'm sooo anxious!
