Sigh. Still waiting to hear. According to the sect my app is still with the admissions dept. In hindsight I should have waited until the last min because I probably would have heard something by now. Has anyone wait listed ever got into the program the same year they were put on the list

Called again today and my application is still being review. Sigh. I dropped it off in november

I called this morning and got no answer. Does anyone know the total number of students they accept. I think its fifty. This waiting is really upsetting me but i am trying to keep my cool.

Why is it that everyone who dropped their app right near the deadline have heard but I sent mine in November !!!!!!

Torture is not the word that describes this wating process. I just wish they were more organized

I hope so. I had a not so stellar undergraduate life but made up for it afterwards. Hopefully I get accepted. If not then it's back to the drawing board.

Nope. No mail today! I sent them the grade report from my two final courses in January. Sigh. I wish they would just hurry up already

I wish I would get an answer too. Does anyone know what their system is? It's really driving me crazy. Of course i want to get into the school but i need to make financial arrangements. Its killing me

Still waiting! And I applied in November. It sucks that they can't get on the ball with this. I may have to quit my job and preparations must be made.

It seems as though many people have gotten acceptance letters and I have yet to hear anything. They did email me a while ago asking for my grade report from my anthro and chemistry course. Is that a good sign? I'm loosing my mind here. I'd rather them tell me something, good or bad. It doesn't help that I just moved! I did change my address with the post office and them, but with that administration who knows Just curious, but for those who were accepted was it a big or small envelope

Congrats on the admissions. Do you mind if i ask what were your net scores and gpa. Also did your acceptance come in the small envelope or the larger one

Its so sad to hear about the drop out rates in some of these schools. I'm having such a hard time getting into a program because of the competitiveness. It makes me wonder how qualified some of these admitted people are. I'm sure there are some instances where students have to leave the program but it does make me wonder about the others

Get all A's in the prerequisites and have a GPA above a 3.7 at least it is very competitive!

I agree with all of you. I was working full time while doing the foundation courses. I also got great grades, but in New York the programs are so competitive. I am still fighting to get into school! No worries though I'm sure you will have no problems increasing you gpa. Just stay the course

I'm starting to feel the same way! I've been told no by a few programs because of a few bad courses...10 years ago:bluecry1: I am at the point where I want to give up, but I know I can do it. You just have to keep the failth and work harder than yo ever had in your life. I am a terrible test taker, but I was able to get a decent score on the NLN Entrance Exam whike taking Microbiology and Developmetal Psych. You can do it!

Thanks! I never thought getting a nursing education would be this hard. Not taking the classes but actually getting into the school. I've never jumped through so many hoops for different programs in my life. The higher Uppsala in the nursing septa everywhere should be ashamed of themselves. Yesterday I looked into and rn program at a school that shall remain namless and the advisor was in a rush to leave for the weekend. She was not a nice person and basically told me not to try for this nursing program because of a c in psychology ten years ago. I have since re taken the class and received an A. This is what is wrong with the nursing programs today. They take you based on a number and not who you are. Hopefully suny will see who I am and accept me

I am so nervous about getting accepted into this school. I have heard bad things as well but this is in my price range, especially if I can't work for a year. I dropped my app off in person on nov 6 because I wanted to make sure they had it in hand. I saw how the office is run and I can totally understand the administrative complaints. I just want to start nursing school already

You can do it witcher7. Although I am not a mother of four, I do work full time and am also taking three classes. It was really hard to study for the net but I read on my way to school( on the train), at lunch breaks, and I stayed up late. Do whatever you can to increase your grade. Good luck

I Know. I have no idea how I am going to pay for Nyu but as my mom says, "the first step is getting in the door." I eventually want to be an NP and I just want to get in the door. Hopefully someone will let me in.

WOW Tanguera, I actually dropped my application for Suny off last week an I am so afraid now. If it wasn't for the cost then I wouldnt even consider it. I did also apply to NYU and am waiting to hear. There are not enough choices in ny for second degree students:smackingf

Just wanted to Let yall know I took the net last Friday. I got a 73% on the reading and a 93% on the math. This feed helped! Also I did break down and buy the online ERI program too. It helped as well.'m just glad I got over a 60% on the reading. Hopefully Suny Downstate will admit me!
