  1. How long did it take you to get the 34? Is that day shift?
  2. Violach, I applied for the residency and haven't gotten an acceptance or rejection letter yet. I did get a VM from them the other day and returned the call and emailed the person but haven't heard back yet.
  3. CLaker, Thanks for the insight on the BACC2 program. I'm not actually applying this cycle, but thinking about it for 2013 or 2014. You mention not having much face to face time with the faculty for the classroom portion, which I'm ok with. Other than that, how many days/hours a week would you say you are required to be on campus for skills and other activities?
  4. Thanks, Mochachild. The school I got my initial undergrad degree at doesn't offer these classes and I was trying to keep the schools I attend to a minimum, which is why I was just going to take them at TAMUCC. The advisor did tell me they have to be upper level classes, so this rules out a community college.
  5. I have a question for anyone still needing Health Alterations (Patholphysiology) and Pharmacology for their pre requisites. Are these classes at TAMUCC entirely online or do they require any face to face time? Also, do you apply to TAMUCC and the College of Nursing for the same semester you plan to take these, or apply to TAMUCC to take the pre reqs and then apply for the College of Nursing the following semester? Thanks!
  6. mrsaggie, Did they mention where the clinical locations are now? I am in Houston and the last time I checked she said they didn't have any in my area and I would have to travel to CC to do my clinicals.
  7. I'm kind of surprised as well that there isn't much activity about it. It seems like all of the other threads are very active. I got the letter about them changing the program from 3 to 4 semesters the week before Christmas but so far no interview letter. I will post here if I receive one. I'm planning on applying to the accelerated program at UTMB for Spring 2012 if this doesn't work out.
  8. I applied for the Accelerated BSN Program to start in May. Any idea if they have started sending out interview letters yet?
