Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
It worked for me! I just received my NCLEX-PN results today, after almost a month of waiting (took it 6/06/09). I passed! I seriously doubted the trick, I was sure I was going to be the first one for it not to work on, but it worked! My close friend took hers June 5th and got results on Tuesday, and she got the pop-up also and she passed! I was borderline obsessed because I would do the TREAT EVERYDAY, sometimes twice or three times a day, thinking that it would let me register. THANK YOU LORD I PASSED!!!!!:redbeathe Thanks to everyone on allnurses for their great advice too. I still think EXAM CRAM is SUCH a good book!!!!! It helped me tons. (I used it for 5 days before my test and their tips/tricks were the ones that helped me out most).

NCLEX-PN California
For anyone that is interested, I thought I would start a thread on the progress of the BVNPT on grading our test. As you know California NCLEX-PN takers have to wait an EXCRUCIATING 3-6 weeks for our results! The only thing keeping me sane right now is the Pearsonvue "Trick/Treat". I called yesterday and they were processing May 29th test takers and I called today (AFTER ANOTHER 35 MINUTES lol) and they are processing JUNE 1ST!!! I'm so excited. :yeah:I took mine June 6th. Good luck everyone!

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
To everyone that has passed I want to offer a BIG CONGRATULATIONS! I am really really really happy for you guys. I took the test 6/06/09 in CA (nclex-pn) and so the TREAT is the only thing keeping me sane right now. I am getting the CONTACT YOUR BOARD message. God willing, this treat will work for me also. I stopped @ 85 questions, had LOTS of SATA, meds, prioritization, teaching, and no drug calc. or s/s of diseases. Thank God for whoever figured out this treat, otherwise I would be going

Passing the NCLEX PN
Hi Queen-Leo! I purchased learningext.com and it was pretty good. I liked the Questions on there, however, the review I didn't care for it much. I highly suggest getting EXAM CRAM NCLEX-PN! I used that for about 5 days before my test and it had a lot of memory tips. I like it A LOT. The book says give at least 2 weeks, two hours a day to review the book. Another thing I read a couple of days prior to my test was the thread "Random Fact throwing" that also helped a lot. For example: Airborne precautions MTV measles, tb, varicella...I just remembered MTV lol. GOOD LUCK YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! one last thing...PRAY!!!

NCLEX PN
I had the same thing happen to me. I had two SATA questions that were very similar! I looked it up once I got home and I got the answer correct, so I really don't understand why I got the same question twice. ahhh...try the pearsonvue trick, it will help alleviate some anxiety. I'm in CA so I have to wait 4-6 weeks! Talk about anxiety....

anrn4life: First off, GOOD LUCK, I will be praying that you passed! Secondly, when I got home from my exam I immediately tried the trick and it told me 'open registration'...but I now realize it's because my exam didn't say "delivery successful" it just said "ready for delivery". So maybe that's why it wouldn't let you go to the CC page. Try the trick again...but if it does let you go on to the CC screen, just think POSITIVE!!! Let us know your results. Good luck :heartbeat

Hi everyone, well I took my NCLEX-PN today and I really don't know how I feel! It wasn't what I expected...I was ready for drug calculations, interpreting lab values, and s/s of diseases...but that's not that I got! LOL. I did the pearsonvue trick and it gave me the "contact the boards" message. So I'm praying that means I passed. We shall see. Good luck to everyone!!! BTW, I studied for maybe two weeks total. I have a very active two year old son and I am a stay at home mom! I studied whenever he took a nap and at night lol. I have to say that I LOVED Exam Cram!!! I highly recommend it. The book says to give about 2 weeks (two hours per day) to go through the book. I read it in about 4 days. It's very simple, straight to the point and gave plenty of tips! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :redbeathe

Hi Kristin and hello everyone. I've been a lurker but just now registered. I'm taking my NCLEX-PN June 5th...I'm not 100% ready but will be studying up to the date (well as much studying as I can, being a stay at home mom to a very active 2 year old lol.) I wish you luck Kristin and everyone who has taken and/or is planning to take the test! Right now, I'm only reviewing my Mosby's nclex-pn review book. I hope it's sufficient. Also, I have the saunders 3rd ed CD with the Q&A's. I hope that's enough. Good luck! God Bless, Gabby
