  1. but what if it isn't? lol ewwwwwwwww sad really. whether its a male or female.
  2. hahahahaha scroll up on page two lol
  3. I am doing the EXACT SAME THING... Keep your head up. The main difference is that I also have a full time job that I will be going to part time right before starting the program. You just have to stay focused and remember it is just one semester that will be rough and you will end with a valuable cert and a 4.0!!! That is the goal right???... Don't let anyone discourage you. And feel free to talk with me about any of it. We can be each others support. Also, I agree... boyfriends make great practice patients :redbeathe:bugeyes: .
  4. SERIOUSLY??? What is a gyno? Really???
  5. I can't do anything but shake my head at this post. I couldn't imagine anyone being jealous about something like that... and I couldn't even imagine comparing an old man's junk with my boyfriends or ever thinking hey this old dude is packing heat wish my boyfriend was... ***? SERIOUSLY... you must be young, that's all that I can say. I am just surprised that you even posted something like this. I HOPE that this is a joke.
  6. My niece did the same thing. She hasn't finished the MA program and owes $18K in student loans. The school fed her a dream not reality. In the Washington, DC Metro she cannot even make it on what an MA makes and has to somehow repay all that debt as a single mother of two. It is an awful lesson to learn... But at least you will be an MA.
  7. It wasn't just this thread that made me think you were bitter... But that is neither here nor there... if you cannot see the humor in it, than this thread isn't for you... This thread brought a smile to my face and like I said before these personalities can be associated with ANY JOB... I loved this thread it makes me laugh with every update.
  8. You are so bitter... maybe we should make a post about this personality. No wait... I think that you are already in the ten lol
  9. I think that some people need to get a life. It is not that serious. This is a funny post. Some people take themselves a little too seriously if they couldn't see the humor in this post. Fuzzy is right, it is funny because it is true. ALSO, you have these personality traits in every office and on every team. Fuzzy, you can't please them all. Don't sweat the small stuff.
  10. I agree that you don't want to weigh your pockets down... But I too think I would keep all of those things in my locker with the exception of the stethoscope and extra scrub top.... you probably wont need the extra scrub top... Are you a nursing student? (just a random thought) I think being new you will def want to have a small notepad.
  11. I will be applying by November 2010 for Spring 2011 entry. I will be finished all of my prereqs in 2010.
  12. Zenman is right!!!! I agree
  13. I know that my nursing school only looks at and goes by the courses associated with the degree that you are going for so if you Bachelors is in something all together different and you have to take your pre-reqs it won't hurt you.
  14. I totally Agree!... I couldn't have said it better myself. Going to the charge nurse and tattling on her won't get you anywhere. You kind of have to work the system you know... play the game. Because you are new you don't want to come off as a tattle tale or someone that doesn't want to be a team player... and because this girl is new and everyone loves her that is exactly how it will seem. They know and trust her right now. You def want to appeal to the patient care aspect and not the "it's just not fair, I have to do it all myself and the other girl does nothing" side. Right now you have to prove yourself and sometimes you may have to suck it up, at least in the beginning.
  15. I think that if you are the one that is sick and calling in... then the phrase is "calling in sick" but if you are the one that is working and reporting it to someone else then you would say that the person called out. But hey... I could be wrong!
