  3. University of Penn is private and has no price difference for CRNA school for residents or non residents.. I also just got accepted there and I currently live in Georgia.. So not sure about edge with in state folks.. But would count for something I am sure.. I just cant wait for all the cold weather.. Hope to see you there... sue :)
  4. WOULD NEVER WORK FOR ANY WELLSTAR HOSPITAL IF THEY PAID ME DOUBLE NORM RATES....
  5. So sorry to hear about the mix up.. With your attitude and faith I know good things are in your future.. Chin up.. I will say a prayer for you and one for me.. I have been turned down by 2 schools and have 5 more out there it!! It is quite a blow to get turned down. I too have great faith the Lord will place me where and when it is time..   6. I too was asked this question first thing at my first ever anesthia interview. I was taken back and wanted to focus on me so I said something like I really want this and I am willing to work really hard to become a CRNA.. Probably not what they were looking for I did not get in.. When I asked the director why he stated" Your interview was not aggresive and assertive enough." That was quite a blow because I tend to be over zealous and ambitious and assertive... Perhaps that was just not my day?? Oh well thank God there are other schools.. Keep trying till you get in is my new motto...

  9. I emailed someone at the school and he forwarded my stuff with adress to the person in charge and said I should be receiving info in a short time. Also said program to start in 2005 did not say which month.. If I hear more I will share with you all..

  12. Congrats... I too am interviewing there Feb.. 12 th.. When is yours? This is the first year of the program so I am not sure what to expect. Good luck!!!! Keep in touch..Sue
  13. Congrats to you both.. I work in Atlanta too... I have an interview at Univ. of Penn.. feb.. 12 th.. Brand new program so I dont know what to expect. Keep us updated.. My other program CAMC in WV meets on Feb.. 3 and then I guess about 2 weeks after that I will know.. THe waiting is miserable.. I am driving everyone at work and home crazy..... Take care all and hang in there..
  14. I thank you all for your support and encouragement.. I am very fortunate to have an awesome husband who is willing to go where ever I get accepted.. My children (4) are all looking forward to an adventerous move which they know will enhance their mother and also help them in the long run.. I am ready for what ever God has planned for me...
