  1. I am an ADON in Mass and we did dispute a few tags last year. You submit your POC and the DNS and Admin. went to a hearing. You hear the DPH reviewing the tag but have no input. The DNS said it was the most unorganized thing she has ever seen. We did beat one tag but one stuck. Good luck to you.
  2. A CNA was bagging????
  3. I just did the book tests over and over at home. I took my boards 1 mth after graduation and passed 1st time. The classes make you nervous just like you are now. You know what you know and will be fine! Good Luck!

I agree with cardiacRN experience is so important. The book I loved was by lippencott and lewis. Good Luck!
  5. WE had someone try to sue our facility because they didn't like the food and the AC wasn't cold enough! Go figure.
  6. First off I'm a supervisor in a nursing home ane noone should be screaming at you including nurses. It's harder than you think to get rid of bad employees. People start to give up and not write them up. What I tell my staff is continue to write them up because we do track it and as soon as we can legally fire them we will and we do. If you like your job and don't want to leave talk to your boss and don't let the nasty's get you down!
