According to the nurse recruiter/ facilitator, there were about 125 external applicants and that each manager or unit were assigned about 8 applicants to interview for the day. I'm not sure how many they will be hiring per unit but I think we're technically competing against those candidates that interviewed for the same unit...

I got the email too just this morning and I am scheduled for 9:00am on Monday. Good Luck to everyone!!!! I think we need to focus on "personality type" questions too such as your short term and long term goals; strengths? weaknesses? resolution conflict, etc...

I also applied and chose Scripps Mercy SD, CV and Green Hospitals. I chose PCU, Oncology and Medical Acute. This is my first time applying with Scripps. Good luck to everyone who applied!

Sorry for the delayed response.... I think they already chose all new hires. I did not get in - I received a rejection letter int he mail

I only applied at Sharp CV - L&D and Postpartum and my interview was for both positions. I heard that they will be calling all applicants who were interviewed either tomorrow or Friday to let them know if they will be hired or not.... hopefully I get the good news...

Is there anyone following this thread who was an "invited" alternate to the open house in San Diego and got accepted? If so, when and how did they notify you? Or, does anyone know when they will start taking allternates and how many? Thanks!

I am an alternate in SD and got open house email. I believe that if you got the email then you are invited to go. Hopefully are chances are good. I am attending and hoping to hear good news.

Hi there, I am an alternate in San Diego and I received the email for the open house on July 21st. I am really hoping for the best, I hope to find out then what my chances are.

I don't think you have to submit it if you are not getting any loans. I received my award letter for the loan and I'm hoping that it is a good indication that I'll be accepted for Fall 09----can anyone clarify on that? Thanks!

She didn't mention any meetings. Did you submit your FAFSA application yet? If so, did you get an award letter yet?

Hi, I just got an email and they are sending out acceptance letters (at least for SD location) on July 8th. From her previous email, she also mentioned that 54 students will be admitted for Fall 09. I was an alternate for the Summer 09 and re-applied for Fall 09. I really am hoping to get in the Fall 09 cohort.
