During Clinicals Are You Able To Choose The Area You Want To Practice In
If your clinical is a group of 10...all of you will probably go to a specific unit/hospital. For example our clinical group which consisted of 8-10 students would rotate units each semester. The first semester we had Med-Surg I so we were on a medical floor the entire semester. My second semester we had Med-Surg II so we were on a surgical floor. Then our third semester we had Mental Health and Maternal-Child...so we were on the Peds and OB floor and also a psych unit. Our fourth semester was Med-Surg III and Community Health so we were on a Cardiac floor and then we did Home Care too. But the entire semester was spent on the same floor for each class. The other clinical groups would be at the same hospital and usually same floor but different days...so there were never two clinical groups on the unit at the same time. Hope that helps you! Although every school is different! Good luck!:)

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
You passed...the pearsonvue trick does work and if you got 10 sata in the first 75...then you are golden!!! I got 265 and only had maybe 2-3 SATA in the first 75..but my friends who only got 75 questions got the same number as you and passed. Those are the most difficult priority questions which means you did awesome!!!! I know it's hard to believe it until you see "pass"..but the trick worked for me and I don't know of anyone on here that it didnt work for!

Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
This trick works..trust me!!! I took the test Saturday morning at 8 am..came home and tried the trick at noon..it said delivery successful. I got the pop up saying that I had already scheduled and that I couldn't register....it helped relieve some anxiety but I was still nervous since I got all 265 questions! But I was able to check the quick results this morning and guess what...I PASSED!!!!!!!

Unsafe Nurse-to-Patient Ratio
At the two hospitals here where I live..med-surg floors have between 8-10 patients during days..more at night. ICU has 3-4. IMO..unsafe!!! This is why I'm not working at either of the hospitals and right now still looking for a job after graduating a month ago.

Non-BSN to MSN advice?
I believe you at least have to be an RN first before you can apply. Most programs are either RN with a Bachelor's in another field(RN to MSN) or BSN to MSN.
