Unfortunately I haven't. I did email them about when we could expect a letter but have not received a response. So I guess I'll call. Seriously the wait is crazy

I applied for the FNP.

It's now the 6 week mark. I still have not received a letter but they did say 6-8 weeks. I was hoping for 6. Which program are you and your sister pursuing? Anxiously waiting....

Congrats!!!!! I applied for the full-time program but was rejected. Really upset but everything happens for a reason.

Do you know anyone that's currently in or graduated from the program?

Not yet. I did call about a week ago and was told it should be sometime this week. It seems like it's taking forever.

I've applied to OUHSC FNP program for summer 2014. I haven't been able to find any threads from applicants. Has anyone else applied to the University of Oklahoma NP program? Or is anyone currently in the program?

I'm applying for an NP program in a week so I'm really freaking out about the resume portion. Do you have any tips?

I took the NCLEX RN today and recieved the same message. I used the PVT when I took the PN and got the same message and passed.

I've been reading threads from other students in first semester and they say it's next to impossible to get an A. Since you did, could you tell me what you did? Also was it extremely hard or just difficult. Orientation is next week, I'm not really concerned with that I just really want to make an A my first semester. Any tips will help. Did you study with study group?

They said it usually takes 2-3 business days to come back so that may be why they are taking orders up to 16th. I was told that my scrubs were in fact end but still did not have the patches sewn on but they should be ready today. I ordered from the bookstore because I did not want to take the chance that I would not get the scrubs in time just because I wanted to save a few bucks. Plus I noticed that if the shirt was on sale then the pants were not and they were usually slightly higher than at the bookstore. I ordered the long lab coat. I think I'll just wait until the day of orientation to pick them up.

I ordered my scrubs on the Dec 22nd and they are still not ready. So I would advise you to order them asap. I already have most of my books, all of which I bought for the bookstore used so I'm very happy. I still have to get the mosby dictionary and the drug guide but I'm going to order them from borders because they are like almost $10.00 less per book. Every little bit helps right. lol. The last time I went they were putting out more books but they did not have the drug guide.

Congratulation!!!!!!!! One class down three do go. Hopefully I will be able to do the same. I'm very excited and can not wait to start.

So I bought the books but I forgot to get the Mosby videos, do I really need them? How did finals go? You sound like you study really hard so I'm sure you did great!!!

Orientation is Jan. 13th. What do they talk about in orientation? Once agian thank you for helping, I know you are probably very busy. I've worked at in the hospital for years and so I have had the opportunity to work with and help nursing students . I hope those expriences will help me a little.

crysinokc, one more question when you say fundamental books are you referring to the fundamental bundle 2nd edition or the fundamental of nursing 7th edition? I'm getting closer to 15 post.lol.

crysinokc, thank you for taking the time to reply. I have one more question, do you think it is better to buy the books or would it be okay if I just rent them. Also do you plan on selling your books back or keeping them? Oh that was actually two questions. lol.

Nursing is the only course I will be taking. I have a wonderful husband so I'm blessed to not work outside the house while in the program but I do have three little ones. I really have not decided what I'm going to do about the textbooks but I'm very frugile so I'm thinking of renting the books.

After I read your post I went to school and enrolled. I also got into the Tuesday lab, I think that it's a good choice because it was said that it takes hours to prepare for Thursday clinicals. Thanks for the info.

It will probably take me a long time to get 15 post.lol. I was looking at the list of books required and I really want to know if you used all of them or just a select few. Also did you buy the e- package or the books individually?

Yes, I got my acceptance letter Tuesday. I'm so excited and like you very anxious. I have a friend who graduated from the program and she said the instructors are awesome.

Yes, this is my first time applying to occc but I also applied to OU nursing program in 2007 and did not get in. I was hoping to know whether I got into this program before next week so I would have time to apply to osu-okc program if I didn't get in. Their deadline is April 1st

Jewl67 I just emailed the director at occc and she said the acceptance letters will go out early next week. Hope you get in.
