  1. I constantly see post on here about a nurse looking for a job and how they are having such a hard time finding employment. People give advice but there is never a person willing to help the person out. I know how stressful the process can be with moving to a different state and trying to find employment. I moved to Ga from NY with a 4 month old and my 10 year old and stayed with family while searching for a job. It was horrible and totally stressed me out but I eventually found 2 jobs that I landed with the grace of God. So I vowed to help others that was in the same predicament as I was #jobless if there is anyway I can help anyone please feel free to respond to this post
  2. Did you find anything yet I know my hospital is hiring at this time Atlanta medical center. Not the absolute best but you will get tons of experience there.
  3. I have been trying Craigslist also, north side hospital residency program next opening is in the spring time.i need to check around with other hospital residency programs thanks @afterseasons
  4. I had a mock interview when I was graduating and everything went well and sometimes I do go over some questions with my cousin because she works in HR and conduct many interviews
  5. I have been looking for employment and applied to Emory also. I have 1.5 years experience on a cardiac/medsurg unit. Did you know someone at the facility when you applied. should i contact the unit manager
  6. I am having an extremly hard time trying to find a job in the Georgia area, its almost as if you need to know someone to get a job. I have been in georgia almost a month and i have been on 4 interviews with one clinic and 3 home health agencies. i have 1.5 years experience on a cardiac/med surg/pre & post op unit.5 years of healthcare experience as a LPN. Does anyone in the georgia area know of any facilities hiring.
  7. That's great @hollykristinxo if you don't mind me asking the facility name that you work. I'm new to the area and I'm trying to apply to jobs. How is your unit do you like it?

  9. im starting nursing 3 this summer and i know its gonna be crazy im gonna have to sacrafice my job my 5 yr old son and boyfriend but hopefully it will not be so bad bc hes in school also....but as far as my son i might have to send him to my moms house for a while until he starts school again and thats gonna suck bc she lives 3 hrs away. the nursing scheduele is so crazy
  10. did u pass the test im taking the test on may 1 and was wondering did any of the advice given too u was successful
