  1. Yes, I am reading all of this! Thankful for the tips. I am going to start going into hospitals. What's the best way to professionally approach "hey I'm here because I need a job?" I am always on indeed but I don't ever see any LTC positions on there? I am ADN and enrolled in BSN currently.
  2. I graduated in December 2014. I passed my boards a couple of weeks later in mid January. Since then, I have applied to over 200 jobs. I have sent follow up emails, made phone calls, the whole 9 yards. Yet, still nothing. I am in the metro Atlanta area and have increased my search to many surrounding cities. I have searched for nurse residency programs and new grad RN positions. I still can't find anything. What else can I do? I'm frustrated that they always say "nurses are always in high demand" but no one wants to give the new grads a shot.
  3. I am a nursing student and I have to give my first injections this week at my clinical rotation. I haven't given one to a real person yet, only fruit! I am so nervous! Anyone have any advice to calm my nerves??
  4. I am starting nursing school and so excited to order my first stethoscope. I am torn between the ocean blue and the pearl pink. Does anyone have either of these? Do they look like the do in the pictures? Also, I don't want to not be taken seriously if I get a pink one.. what do you guys think?
