Does anyone know if Cabell has a uniform policy? Like do certain people wear certain color scrubs? I know CAMC does RNs wear Royal Blue or White. LPNs wear wine. CNAs and NURSE EXTERNS wear hunter green... Does anyone know about Cabell Huntington though. Thanks everyone.

at my school if you fail clinical then you fail the class. therefore you must take it over. Say you fail med surg 3 clinical, my school requires you to sit in and audit med surg 1 and 2 from the previous semester. you do not have to take the tests you just sit in class and listen to the lectures and what not. the is a guy in my class waiting for 3rd semester to come around and he had to audit the 2nd semester classes.... ohh and you have to reapply to the program you are not automatically still in the program you must have an iterview and other things and the DON students must accept your request. if there are no open spots then there is no room for you at my school. but every semester you loose a person or a few people so that is not an issue....

West Virginia State Community and Technical College Institute, WV 2 year Associates in Nursing requires an 80% (B) to be your final grade in the class. You can fall below during the class but you must bring it back up before the class ends. You get dropped if you fall below that. You can reenter the program if in one year but you must reapply and you can start where you left off. But you have to audit previous classes. Like if you fail med/surg 3 you must audit 1 and 2. ohh and you must maintain a 2.75 GPA at all times and make a 70% © in all prereq. classes. They also have a high success rate on Boards. Ohh and at the end of every class you have to take a corresponding ATI test and get atleast a tier 2. hope this helps

I filled out my fafsa. then they submitted my info to the school. then the school will contact u if they need other info. like ur parents tax info if ur so young and don't work or sposes info etc. then the school sends a award letter. my school releases the money after add/drop period. since the money goes directly to the school and not to u, u don't have to worry about anything really. if there is a problem then the school contacts u. ohh yeah if there is money left over they send u a check about 2 weeks later. the. I can't remember what seog stands for though. where r u going to school.

i have bad credit too. im not sure of my score, but i did not have to have a cosigner. and the pell grant and SEOG and higher ed grant, plus a few loans paid for everything. im not sure how your school works but mine gives loans to anyone. the only way you cant get aid from my school is if you have to many hours for the degree you are persuing. like if you alredy have 90 hours and are persuing a associates degree you can only get enough aid to pay for the classes you are required to take no more....

i have med surg I for 5 weeks. then med surg II for the next 5 weeks. then psyc for the last five weeks...

Cabell huntington pays 8 dollars for Juniors and 11 dollars for seniors...

Has any one been an extern in the Charleston - Huntington Wv area? I was wondering about the pay. I think that CAMC is 8 dollars an hour and Thomas is 12 dollars an hour. does any one know if there are pay differences for different shifts of anything or what the pay rate for Cabell Huntington or St Marys or St Francis is? Thanks... I have an Interview with CAMC on April 4th and i got a call back from Cabell Huntington and i was just wondering what the pay is.... Thanks Samantha
