  1. Texas Hospitals are understaffed for RN's, and it is still a employee market in many cities. The are still Visa's that Pinays' came come to the USA with, and eventually work with. I would just ask your friend what Visa she was granted. Texas Hospitals will take new nurses from Philippines and put them in a 3 to 4 month New Grad Training Program. Philippines Nurses have a excellent reputation and that tend to be highly sought after from hospitals from what I have observed
  2. Sorry to correct you, But New Grad and seasoned nurses are finding plenty of jobs in my area if they are a RN.
  3. you can get a ssn in the us with a non immigrant visa, you can go to your local ss office and get it the day you arrive
  4. Phil License Not Required for her. As long as you have graduated in the last 2 years, PI licenses is not needed in Texas
  5. Will not hire until all Citizens are employed. What an absurd post, You prove yourself to have little to no knowledge regarding other countries. Please next time before you post do some research so you don' t come off posting stuff like this
  6. Texas Board of Nursing does not require a local license in order to apply and sit for NCLEX. They do require a evalution of your transcripts by a 3rd party entity. I just got off the phone with Tx. BON. Please stop this foolish bickering
  7. I have noticed you have posted twice about the person sitting for the NLE. If the California BON has no issues with the applicant not taking local exam I see no reason why it should be an issue for you. From what I read you are not a California Citizen, nor are you a US Citizen. Do you work or live in USA? Why do you have such a view on this matter?
  8. Most countries are jealous of the USA.
  9. You don't need to pass NCLEX for a Visa to USA Many visa available to USA that NCLEX has no bearing one way or the other
  10. HealthCare in USA isn't working? Doctors and nurses from all over the world want to work in USA. People from other countries come to the USA for surgeries since the USA healthcare is head and shoulders above any other country Healthcare is working excellent in the USA, You need to broader your horizons before making such comment:nono:
  11. Gonna have to disagree with the above statement You can make it to USA and work as a Nurse and get a signing bonus that is 3 to 5 times the annual salary in Philippines, and you will earn for a 1 day salary as nurse in USA what it takes a RN in Philippines to earn in a month. If working in the USA is your dream, then make your dream happen:coollook:
  12. job shortage is by region, many places hiring nurses in usa
  13. Lets get back to the topic Retrogression Why does the USA have to import nurses?
  14. When some one shows up waving the Red White and Blue of the Great USA, and offering Medical Aid, Economics Aid, Military Aid then that ole Bully Seems likes your best friend
