  1. Hi, How long have you wait til you get in? is it difficult to get into mercy college for ADN? I am going to apply there hopefully I can get in and I am planning the evening/weekend also..thank you!
  2. Hello VMSR, Thank you very much for the info. from what country are you? I am from Philippines, I am a permanent resident here in the US for 2 years now. I have a high school diploma and a college grades, but unfortunately my grades are not great. Do i need to submit it to WES or just send them directly to mercy college? I am really interested in getting into the nursing program at Mercy College but I have some worries, you know what I mean being foreign thinking if the professor and the students will laugh at me when I can't pronounce the word correctly or they will not like me at all. ohhh these thoughts are pulling me down...but anyway, are you in ADN or BSN route? what year are you now? What are the prerequisites?
  3. Hello, what are the prerequisites for BSN and ADN? and one more thing, I am foreign and I am not that fluent in speaking English, will my chances of getting in into the nursing program is very low? Thank you!
  4. Hi Edna! yes I am from the Phils. How long have you been there as a nurse? I was so glad i foud my kababayan in here. How are you?
  5. Yeah we can do it! nothing is impossible! good luck on your journey.
  6. Thank you for the encouragement TiffanyS23, I am super excited and can't wait to get started. yeah you are right its a lot harder with a little one but definitely worth it in the end.
  7. wow thanks for the reply! i know it wouldn't be easy on my part but i will take one at a time. you are right it will take a lot of sacrificing but worth it. I know i can do this, this is what i want and i will not quit. yeah CC offers childcare but my God the waiting list here in our CC is up to 2013. the other college that i want to get in with doesn't offer childcare but they do have nights and weekends classes.
  8. Thank you for the enlightenment..i will definitely do it. it is for my baby's future.
  9. Ohh really, that's great! I will also take one at a time it is easier for me that way.
  10. I see..yeah my husband told me in order to get a higher grades you should take less classes. that way, you have more time to study each subject.
