  1. hi! I'm also applying for Ontario. Until now I'm still waiting for my assessment letter from CNO. Their last reply to my email is for me to give them my Ontario application number. what is an Ontario application number? what do I need to do to get my application number? please help me. thannks
  2. hi! I'm currently working here in Abu Dhabi UAE, and I applied for CNO for my eligibility to sit CRNE. It has been 6 months since I sent my documents together with the application package still they haven't sent me the assessment letter. they are asking for an Ontario application number. what is it? how will i get an application number? I'm currently processing my immigrant visa, hopefully it will be available by next year. I'm also planning to repeat my IELTS next year since I only got 6 in my writing during my IELTS last april. please enlighten me on what to do next. I have been sending CNO numerous emails and called them, according to them they already have sent the assessment letter, but a did not receive any.
  3. hi vincent, nice know that your eligibility for canada is going well. which province did you apply for your eligibility. how long did it take for you to receive your assessment letter and be able to write the CRNE. thanks for the updates. it will help me a lot. Good luck and God bless in your endeavor for Canada.
  4. rogue, thanks for the info.. I'm still waiting for my assessment letter from CNO. I've emailed them a number of times already, its already 6 months waiting. According to their email last aug. 22: "A request has been sent to have your assessor remail the assessment letter." hope I will not do the bridging program, yet I'm preparing myself if it happens. Also I think I have to take the IELTS again because my writing is only 6.0 , (listening-8, reading-7.5, speaking 7). How I wish I would just have to repeat writing only. But sad to know that its not the case, i have to take IELTS all over again to have at least have a minimum band score of 6.5 on all subjects. for all nurses out there, please share some ideas and suggestions regarding my situation. your opinions are highly appreciated. thanks a lot and Godbless
  5. Hi! I would like to know, how long will it take to finish the bridging program for nurses in Ontario. Especially for those who had their Bachelors degree in Nursing in the Philippines. Will it also depend on your years of experience? Im a registered nurse from the Philippines and is currently working here in Abu DHabi as an ER Nurse. Im planning to migrate to Canada by next year, in Ontario to be exact. That's why I'm searching for information that will help me to be able to find work faster. Thank you, your info's will help me a lot. God Bless
  6. hi! im a RN from philippines. and working right nowin United Arab Emirates. my area is ER
  7. hi tobby_walter from what I can remember, I got the form from the Nursing Service Office of PGH, then i went back to my school and have it accomplished by our Dean. Good luck on your application, you can make it. I'm also from a small province in Bicol, and made it to PGH. Just be your self and be confident, especially with your fundamentals of Nursing.
  8. hello, we have the same dilemma. I'm also planning to take CRNE this june 2009. but i still don't have the eligibility. I'm still waiting for my assessment package from CNO. I'm also planning to write the exam using the visitor's visa, because I have an aunt there who is a Canadian citizen, who is offering to send me an invitation letter. I'm working here in Abu Dhabi and I used to worked in PGH.
  9. hi.... i'm rxzza from bicol, philippines. I graduated from CSC . i've worked in PGH and now working here in Abu DHabi. I have an aunt in toronto, who is encouraging me to work there, since there is US retrogression. I already sent an email to CNO for an assessment package, they replied that I have to wait 3-4 weeks for its delivery. i dont know what to do next.
  10. hi! i've worked in PGH ER from 2004 to 2007. i must say it has really help me a lot, especially in my skills and knowledge, since its my first job right after passing the board. PGH is hiring non-stop,especially now that there are many nurses resigning who are going to Saudi, UAE, Canada, UK n US. You just have to submit the needed requirements then pass the wriiten exam and interview.
