  1. That's good but you must have had a BSN. They would not hire me and I was super disappointed in that I am bilingual and come from a similar hospital in California.
  2. They want experienced nurses with BSNs only.
  3. OK, so I have four years med-surg experience at a county hospital in California with the exact same patient population as Bellevue and I am bilingual but can't even get an interview because I don't have a BSN. I do have a BA and MA in other fields and an ADN. How is this right? And if I have to get a BSN who can recommend a program, please. I now live in NYC. Do managers really look at on-line RN to BSN as as good as going to school? Thanks.
  4. I'm moving to Manhattan in a few months and going as a traveler. After a few assignments I'm hoping to get hired on in a permanent position in med.-surg. I'm experienced ( four years), have ACLS, PALS and NRP and am bilingual. Will I have trouble getting a job? Egads!
  5. I will go anywhere on the country to get ER training. Where I live there are just two hospitals that have 16 week training but it is so hard to get hired on. I have four years experience in med.-surg and am bilingual. Advise?
  6. I want to work at Metropolitan. I have an ADN, non-nursing BA and MA, and am bilingual. What are my odds of being hired right away when I move to Manhattan in August?
