Metropolitan Hospital Center
That's good but you must have had a BSN. They would not hire me and I was super disappointed in that I am bilingual and come from a similar hospital in California.

Metropolitan Hospital Center
They want experienced nurses with BSNs only.

Bellevue ER, NYC
OK, so I have four years med-surg experience at a county hospital in California with the exact same patient population as Bellevue and I am bilingual but can't even get an interview because I don't have a BSN. I do have a BA and MA in other fields and an ADN. How is this right? And if I have to get a BSN who can recommend a program, please. I now live in NYC. Do managers really look at on-line RN to BSN as as good as going to school? Thanks.

I would like to hear from some nurse recruiters on why no one can find a job.
I'm moving to Manhattan in a few months and going as a traveler. After a few assignments I'm hoping to get hired on in a permanent position in med.-surg. I'm experienced ( four years), have ACLS, PALS and NRP and am bilingual. Will I have trouble getting a job? Egads!

Jobless Adn~ Rn?
I want to work at Metropolitan. I have an ADN, non-nursing BA and MA, and am bilingual. What are my odds of being hired right away when I move to Manhattan in August?
