  1. Do not sell yourself short!! I agree with the above comment that new NPs are accepting salaries that are way too low. I was originally offered 75000 and negotiated to 96000 for my first job. I also negotiated raises and a bonus structure, along with CE reimbursement. Look at all angles and get paid what you are worth!!!
  2. Don't wait to go back to school. I love being an ARNP!!!!! It is completely different from bedside nursing.

  5. I felt totally the same way. I had 75 questions and felt like I guessed on most of them!! Check the pearson vue trick, it works. I got the good pop up message and found out that I had passed 48 hours later. Keep your chin up. You probably did great.
  6. i totally believe in the trick. my quick view results came up exactly 48 hours after i finished the test. So, check as soon as 48 hours is up!!!

  17. i just took the nclex rn today and it shut off at 75. I like many others, felt as if I guessed on most of the test. What a horrible feeling after doing great in nursing school. Now I guess i just have to wait. I did the pvt and got the pass message but I want to see pass before i believe it!!

  19. if anyone is looking for a small room with a bathroom, i graduate in may and it will be avail in the beginning of may. I walk to class and take the train to the hospital for clinical. It is across the street (san amaro) from the college. I pay 500 a month
  20. the one year accelerated program is extremely challenging. I know that i can speak for all of us in the may 2009 class and tell you that you have to be completely committed to do the one year program. It is alot of work. The material is not hard, it is just alot of info at one time that you need to absorb.
