  1. I wonder how they pick those they want to interview?
  2. Atruim says under consideration. Novant says application received. Wonder why I never got an email for interview ?
  3. My Atruim now says under consideration. Novant still says application received but got an email to attend info session next week ?‍♀️
  4. All I got was an invitation to an info session on the 9th. Good luck ladies with your interviews.
  5. One of my classmates got into Novant in Dec she said they started at 28 an hour. Not sure about Atruim but I hear they pay less.
  6. Ha! I was just checking. Novant says application received still and Atruim says same thing.
  7. Hi Everyone, I also applied to Atrium and Novant. Applied to Novant yesterday and Atrium Jan 15th. For Atrium my status still says application received. How long did it take for you guys to hear back? Best of luck to everyone! Thanks for any info.

  9. Hi everyone! Im thinking about doing residency program. How have you guys liked it? Do you have to commit to a whole year with the hospital? thanks in advance for any info.
  10. did either of you ever hear back? Im wanting to apply also.
  11. Hey! Thanks for thinking about me. Actually the day I was to take the predictor test I found out I was accepted to RCCC bridge program. I just decided to take that spot. It also were I got my LPN license so I’m familiar with the teachers and program. Did you get into Gaston. My final is May 11th and then graduate in dec with my RN.
  12. No, beside the TEAS test I've never taken an ATI test. My LPN program at Rowan used Kaplan to prepare us for the NCLEX. Im just nervous because I want a good score on this predictor test so I can apply to the program.
  13. Yes they sure did!! Yay i got a spot to take the test on the 11th. In my LPN program we used Kaplan. Do you have any advice for me on how to study for this test! Im sure you'll get into this program with being 2 points shy of the max points. Way to go!!
  14. Thanks for the info! Did you get into Gaston? Looking at online options now. Waiting to see if I was accepted to RCCC bridge but was low on point scale because of my classes aging out ?
  15. HI all!! Im applying to Gastons LPN to RN program. They sent out an email last week letting everyone know there are no more testing dates for the ATI PN predictor test. This is a requirement for the program. Deadline is Nov 15th. They never told us in the info session that the test is only given on Wednesday's. There are lots of others wanting to test but they will not add more test dates. Im hoping someone knows of another college that gives this test, I am willing to travel. Im currently in the Charlotte NC area. Any helpful info is very appreciated! I would hate to have to wait a whole year to apply again because i cant take the test.
  16. Thank you so much! I got into a program and am now in my 4th week!
  17. Hi I'm currently in my 4week of nursing school. I'm wanting to purchase a NCLEX prep book to help aide in my studies. I'm wondering what book would be best to buy. I have been looking at buying the Saunders Comprehensive review for the NCLEX-RN examination book. Should I buy one for LPN instead of RN? Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks
  18. Thank you so much!!
  19. Thanks for your reply.
  20. Hello, I need some advice. It took me 4 years to finish all my pre-reqs because I'm a single mother and had to work two jobs while going to school. Fast forward and now I'm done. The school I'm applying to has an RN program as well as an LPN. The way they rank students is by a point system. One of the ways you receive more points is having completed some of your core classes like A&P etc more recent than say years ago. So since I completed my A&P 3 years ago I won't get as many points as those who completed this year, even though I made A's and B's in most of my classes. I'm afraid I won't be accepted to the RN program so was going to try for the LPN program instead because their adding a bridge program in 2019 for LPN's to bridge to RN. I might have a better chance of getting into the LPN program than I do the RN program. You can have a lower score on your Kaplan test to if going for the LPN program. What would you guys do. I would rather get into a program and be working towards something than waiting around to get into an RN program. I could always just bridge to an RN. Thanks for any advice. Oh yea, the school I'm applying to is Rowan Cabbarus Community College. Thanks! Julia
  21. was wondering how I would figure out my application score? I hear everyone talking about points but not sure where to find how I would tally mine up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  22. HI, Im just wondering how cpcc tallies up the points for the nursing application. How would I figure out my points? thanks for any info
  23. HI, I havent scored high enough on my TEAS V test and I've taken it twice! Does anyone know of some prep classes in or around the Charlotte nc area? Have you known anyone to take a prep class and it helped? Any info is much appreciated!!
  24. Hi I am a single mother to a 6 year old. I am hoping in Jan to start my pre reqs!! I am so worried I wont have any time with my lil boy after work and studying. How is A&P 1? Do you study 24/7? I know i didnt answer you ? but I would like to see how you manage school and kids. Thanks
