Okay so I cannot find any information or get anyone to answer after 2 weeks. I have a C in Algebra. If I took the next step up which is Pre-cal. trig. would they take that, or would I have to retake Pre-Cal. Alg.? And anyone know about the withdrawal thing, if it counts as an attempt?

Is trigonometry hard and would you take it with A&P?

I see all the admission requirements for Nevada schools and about how you can only take A&P or Micro twice! WHat if you withdrew from A&P does that still count as it being taken? I am in reference to Touro Nevada and UNLV, and places like that near Las Vegas and Henderson! I am retaking A&P for the third time to receive a good grade of an A or B. The first time I took it, it dropped the class. The second time I got a D. Does anyone know this information, I read it somewhere but don' t know where. SO frustrating?!

Thank you so much Rodmoser, I'm in WA, but the first chance I get I'm so going to move to LV! I just don't know about the repeat thing? All LV schools state that you can only retake A&P two times. I got a W the first time and a D the second time. I have some life circumstances that prevented me from getting a great grade, but I know that is no excuse. I know and it's proven that I can do well, a 3.6 in Organic Chem the first try and 3.6 in Statistics. I know I can do good and 3.8 in English 102. I know I can do good but there are just a lot of struggles and bumps during my life in the process of getting and accomplishing what I want to achieve. I want to know if the W counts as one of the times that A&P is taken and if so, I guess I cannot apply to any LV programs because I have a letter D grade on my second attempt and again the first attempt I dropped the class. I'm retaking the class this spring quarter and I know I will get nothing less than an A! So do they count the W's as a time the A&P is taken or not? Anyone know this information. It takes really long to get in touch with someone! THank you, I'm over excited about the fact that most of the programs are 16 months and in LV, I would be so happy! Hey everyone, I went to the website and couldn't find anything. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS, I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL! I know the app deadline for the Nov entry, but how many times do they admit a year? Is there only one acceptance annually? WHat is the repeat policy?

I looked and downloaded all the forms, apps, checklist, etc. THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THE APPLICATION DEADLINES???!!! Can you also tell me if you repeat a class more than twice, what will happen, does that make you ineligible to apply for the program?

I was just wondering because I am not able to attend an information session before the application deadline. I AM IN WASHINGTON STATE! I know it's held every 3rd Thursday! But can I apply and before getting into the program, do I have to attend an information session before even applying because I know it is mandatory!

I have a 3.02 right now but I'm trying to still bring my GPA up to a 3.5 and I have been a CNA for 5 years and have a lot of experience. What do you think my chances are? Is it hard to get into this school? I have repeated A&P and a few other courses but have a CNA and hopefully will have a 3.5 GPA by then? When are the application deadlines because I never saw anything on the website?! Please any help would be great, I know they accept 3 times a year!

What about repeats in science courses to get a higher grade and what if we have an AA, also can you be currently enrolled in A&P while applying? What about students who don't live in the state, do you have to attend an information session before applying?

I'm in seattle right now and this is the best school that I know I can get into with all of the life circumstances...how much are the classes if you took the basic A&P1&2 micro and all the normal prerequisites and is the tuition the same as ontario and in anaheim. What is it like living there and is it cheaper in ontario and where is it? sorry for all the questions but i'm 23 and a female and scared to death...do you have a fb?

okay cali is expensive...is there a way or anyone know how students who are going to start the program can dorm or find living arrangements with other students?

i attend a community college and am almost done with my associate's for arts and science for prenursing. I took a two prerequisites at another community college and took a no credit for those classes. i want to apply for a university, again it's no credit not dropped but there were only 2 classes and it states I need to turn in all transcripts. I'm in washington state is there a way where i can get those taken off my name or do I not need to turn them in when I apply this fall?

Your just being logical, that is understandable. Stated your opinions with facts and evidence to back it up, thats great, really. Life does happen, and I have taken responsibility for it or I wouldn't be where I am today. And were not ganging up on you, if you feel that way. I can only speak for me but I actually have been keeping up a 3.8 grade average the past couple of quarters because I know how hard these nursing programs are to get into. I am looking into San Diego in places like National or something like that. If you research the schools in Washington their standards are really extreme. Not sure how they compare to Cali but I'm sure since they are on the West Coast there are some similarities. I looked at your profile, ***I hope I'm not being too forward and I do apologize if I am***, your a guy, and most of the people who responded to my forum are female. Thus being said women are more verbal and have emotional cues and men are more logical. This has to do with differing opinions and no one will ever agree, I believe the issue is how it was approached. Just that it could have been stated differently, I'm not 100% sure but AGAIN-THAT'S JUST MY OPINION...LoL. OH and I never ever stated you were a bad nurse!!! We need male professionals who are SMART that can take on a crazy patient or two if you happen to work somewhere like the ER. Don't read too much into things and analyze everything in another way. It's stated just as is and being the one of 9 friends yet to graduate nursing, I just know what I would like in a nurse, when I am a nurse, and how my friends and family are when they go to the doctors and say that there so uncaring. I know there are going to be extreme heavy work loads and crazy days and your not going to be MS. MARY SUNSHINE...excuse me...MR. SUNSHINE. Yet not everything can be used with logic that's all, again my opinion a different opinions of gender! And NO SUGAR COATING STUFF ****** ME OFF, I like it when people are real and forward but there is a way to do it and that thing is called TACT. Were all here to seek advice and all must be prepared for others opinions regardless of what they are and if someone posting a topic normally wouldn't if they weren't prepared for such opinions. Really just relax, are you already a nurse? And if so what college did you attend?

I'm in the same boat and going for both classes...you know what...grab a paddle and start rowing!!!!!...during summer too...

oh and I cannot drop out of the class with a W or anything like that because of Financial Aid!!!...that is the reason! If I dropped out or got a W, I would not FAFSA anymore
