  1. Nothing like the NCLEX. If you paid attention in nursing school, NCLEX will not be a problem. I used hurst and Kaplan, I think i would have been fine without either. Definitely would have been healthier without the stress of getting kicked out of nursing school for failing Keystone twice. I have seen ERI document that state the Keystone should not be used for assessment purposes!!
  2. Good job Brandi !!! Was it Keystone or Rn assessment? How many Q?Just curious.
  3. I hope it is not mandatory to pass. You should have a white book that is mailed to your instructors! If not you are at a disadvantage. I looked at every question those practice test. I did not see any repeats. IF you are taking the one called Keystone, I wish you much luck. If it is the one called RN Assessment then just take it easy this weekend with lots of sleep and you will be fine.
  4. Sorry I just saw your test is called LP assessment. I would guess you are fine, especially if you are a native English speaker..
  5. Hello chiriffe, I don't know if ERI has a different test for LVN. There were at least two test for the RN. The first one we took was called "Keystone" which I think is a good if you have lots of luck. The other is called RN assessment, this is good if you have common sense, nursing knowledge, and luck. Tomorrow you must just be prepared to be 100%, there is no time or need to cram. Good rest and good food.
  6. I am currently a new grad BSN with 5 years experience as a sysadmin/analyst and 4 years webdesign including Java and C programming. I don't know much about the job description of someone with a masters in NI. Does my previous experience relate? What is taught in those programs for NI degrees?
  7. Is this some type of "kick back" deal for mandating students pay for this? I just can't figure out these administrators. Why do they require passing ? Don't they know guessers even pass this? I have talked to so many people that said I did not know the right answer on most of those questions.
  8. Kaplan is the way to go!
  9. Is is because most nursing schools are run by stubborn old ladies, we have to suffer though these ridiculous test developed by stubborn old ladies? Maybe some day they will pull their head out of their rectum.
  10. ERI is the lamest thing to ever be affiliated to nursing schools. What kind of idiots hires a third-party to evaluate their students without validating their methods? Does anybody else thing their school's administrators are idiots?
  11. The pharm ERI is one of the worst!! You must be lucky to pass it.
  12. Yeah we get to take it as many times as we want. This totally skews the average. The questions are passed down to the lucky socialites who get to memorize them from upper classmen.
  13. That is exacted what happens. I remember a question on our Exit that asked to type in numbers for a calculation question. They gave the safe range dosage for the drug but the order was out of that range!!! How to answer a question like that? I just type in 0, but I later saw in the practice test and the insane high out of range dose was the answer!! ERI is a lazy and inaccurate way for school administrators to judge.
  14. I am not kind, just honest. ERI is a waste. Get a saundrs book or goto Kaplan or Hurst.
