RTHS

I just started working for Head Start in Oct 08, love every minute of it! But having a lot of questions about many things and how things are done. The nurse I replace had already left before I started so I am learning as I go! Where are the experienced head start nurses, I have so many questions!

We came back on the 5th, kids returned on the 6th.

This is so true esp when you are dealing with pre-school age kids!!

Oh yeah it's great to throw out the stuff growing in there but can't they save our containers? I once took a complete meal in to my staff, spoke with the dietary manager on the way to my unit, she asked what I had brought and later that morning throw it all away including the dishes! That was the entire on duty staff's meal that day. Needless to say she was sorting through the trash later to find my dishes!!! And yes they were all labled and dated!

Yea I learned the hard way about GLC also. But being let go from that place turned out to bet the best thing that ever happened to me! Out of LTC now and not going back, EVER!!! I will never regret the experiences I had in LTC and forever greatful for the great start in nursing I recieved from the experienced staff there.
