UAB Fall 2014 NP Programs
It was my understanding your gpa was calculated off your last 60 credit hours. USA calculates your cumulative versus UAB calculates your last 60 credit hours. I would apply to USA if your cumulative is stronger. My last 60 credit hours put my gpa at 3.89

FCCJ Summer 2009, anyone?
Good Morning Ladies & Gents- Congrats to everyone that has made it into the Summer Term. I talked with Crystal Porter and she stated to me that we had until the 23rd to get all of the documentation into them. I started getting everything together before FCCJ Spring Break and turned in all of my documentation on Monday April 13th. Does anyone else have Nights & Weekends? Just curious to see if I can meet anyone before classes start. Also, does anyone have a picture or know exactly what the uniform tops look like? I have a top from a couple years back and don't wanna buy another one if its the same one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FCCJ "cut off" points
Well everyone that gave me advice, I decided to take the NAT again. I brought my score up 16 points on the NAT. I studied the ARCO book and just got real familiar with it all.. lol I applied today with 193.68 points with evening/weekends as my 1st choice so I can be at the deerwood campus. I am not sure what the minimum score for that is, but I thought it was worth a shot. Hopefully I'll get in for the summer term... I'll be saying my prayers!!!

FCCJ "cut off" points
I am definitely going to think about it and still study. I just would rather take my chances now then try and blow it for an entire year. I know if I have to apply for the fall I will need to get my score alot higher to get accepted because of the number of applicants. With the Duval/Nassau County preference and the fact that financial aid is not available, I feel I might have a pretty good shot. Still waiting for more folks input before I decide the yeah or neah...

FCCJ "cut off" points
I'd like to get other student's thoughts.. I am thinking about applying for the summer term 2009 @ fccj. I've read some of the other post about the cut off 180 and them accepting scores last year as low 176. I have thought about retaking my NAT Test to get a higher score because I bombed the verbal portion of the test due to lack of time. However, I took the NAT in Sept of 2008 and I do not want to take it again and risk not getting as high of a score if I had more time to study for the NAT. Since you can only take the NAT twice in one year I do not want to risk getting a lower score because of my time crunch. My question to you all is, Since I have 177 points & I am a resident of Duval County. Do you think that my chances are greating getting in with the 176 score?? & also with financial aid not paying for summer term, that may allow me to get in. Should I skip the test and see if I get in for summer term with 177 points total? Or should I take the test? Just seeing other peoples input... I am leaning towards just going with the points I already have and applying with 177 points. If I don't get in with 177 points... I would just study, retake the NAT and reapply for fall. Can someone shed some light.... WHAT WOULD YOU DO??!!

Fccj Nat Test
I just missed the cut off for the FCCJ RN Spring 09 program. I will be retaking my NAT and applying for the Summer Term. On the NAT, I did horrible on the verbal section due to the time running out. I wanted to see if any of the fccj nursing student had a good study guide for the verbal section of the NAT. I have studied the Nursing School Entrance Exam book by Learning Express. Just looking for other ideas of what to study for this particular section. All of the other parts I did well on. Any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks again.

FCCJ "cut off" points
I heard for summer 09, you are going to need around the 190's. I believe Mrs. James said that it starts around 193...
