  1. I have taken the TEAS 5.0 on April and passed. The first exam which I took in Solano Community College was different from College of San Mateo. Solano's was harder than the one I took in CSM. I used 3 different kinds of reviewer: Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exam, TEAS V manual which can be bought on atitesting.edu, and the McGraw Hill's 5 practice tests. What I did differently was I practiced more on reading comprehension. I took the CSM's remediation classes for TEAS such as doing Reading plus (google it), and other tutorials. If you really want to pass especially because it is your last chance please spend time reviewing. I studied 5 to 6 months 3-4 hours a day before my test date and got an 85.6%. I'm pretty sure you can do it too. If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected]
  2. for those who have taken the teas version 5 more than once, or twice, how is/are the test/s differ from each other? Were there any repeated questions or similarities from the last? I heard there are three versions of the teas v. Is this true? Thanks in advance!
  3. I scored lowest on ATI A & B in the scientific reasoning section. How did you guys study or prepared for that? My exam is coming up next month.
  4. Hello. Where did you take it?
  5. @adntobe: where did you take the teas? and also did you remediate before you took your 2nd attempt? i am taking my test at the end of this month. this will be my 2nd try. i am becoming nervous now as the date is going near. thanks by the way for sharing this post.

One resource I used for practice questions that I didn't see on your list was: Test Prep Review I also used a library copy of McGraw Hill's Nursing School Entrance Exams by Thomas A. Evangelist. BEWARE IF YOU USE THE FIRST EDITION! There are a number of errors in the questions. I emailed the publisher and got them to send me a list of corrections. I can't upload files (I don't know if I can even use the PM as this is my first post), so reply if you need the list and I can email you (Excel file). Have to say, I was surprised at the number and specificity of human body science questions I got.. 11/48 in the science section; the rest were 15/48 life science, 14/48 earth & physical science, 8/48 science reasoning. Maybe I should have realized the body focus.. this is a pre-nursing test, after all. Not everyone gets the same questions of course, so YMMV. Best of luck! Could you also send the excel file of the Mcgraw Hill Nursing entrance exam to me, please? Thanks in advance=) [email protected]
  7. Thanks a lot @ tnbutterfly . iv been searching a way how to delete my post where i posted my email address, seriously!!
  8. omg sacstate2010 ive been looking around how to response to your message but i cant find it. so,PM me . thanks a lot!
  9. hi sacstate2010 i was just wondering what did you answer to this question that was posted on the other forum? "Hi sacstate, seems like we had the same test. I will have to retake it again. Had an 86.2% on the real thing. I thought the book helped quite a bit for the maths and eng. The science is a different story--it's all over the place. Though, the online practice was close. Got questions for the science part. How did you manage with the translation for the mRNA code, Genetic q was kind of weird, with the punnet sq & answer choices, the book didn't have anything like those types of q for practice. The experiment with 50ml in 3 different materials, how did you answer that? How about the bk on the table? The q on the wheelchair was tricky. Thought it was about friction, will you increase or decrease friction. Will you increase distance/length or increase distance? How about the wave q. Never had a physics class. Do you think energy or force is related? Got more q's. Please send me a pm. Could really use some help! Thanks" i'm taking my teas tom. i just need some help about it. thankss a lot
  10. good luckk!! my friend studied for just 1whole day and she got an 81%. u can do it as well. im taking mine on the 14 of this month.
  11. i'm taking my second retake on sat nov 14. i'm scared yet a bit excited?? i dont know.obviously, i failed my first one due to lack of sleep and lack of preparation kinda.. because i studied 2 months b4 my actual test and just skimmed the reviewer the night before.. hehe. by the way, i scored 60%. math was my lowest score. =( i was wondering if the tests are just the same ones. i took the test on september, and reading what sacstate2010's posted, i remember her test's contents were the same as what iv taken. except unless we took it the same day. im planning to take the online test later. i was wondering as well if i could still view/review the test after taking it. coz i was actually planning on clicking "print screen" it while taking the test. haha anybody has taken the online one yet? any advices on both ?? thanks a lot.:loveya:
  12. Hi Snow Rain, Thanks for the reply. May I ask what kind of school do you go to right now? I am just curious. Thanks, again!
