Thankfully, I was referred by a friend who works there. These days, its not WHAT you know, but rather WHO you know. Thank god I knew the right person!

It's actually med-surg, but at least its close to home. I can transfer to L&D in a few years.. :) I think its all about getting your foot in the door these days.. Looking forward to finally getting a chance to be a nurse though. Good luck to everyone. It will happen.

Hi TrueNurse, I also just got hired at scripps! Are you at Scripps mercy San Diego or Chula Vista? Did you precept or extern on the floor you got hired on to? Congratulations!! Maybe I will see you around during orientation!

I actually canceled my interviews today because I got offered a job in San Diego!! :yeah:I hope you all hear good news soon!!

I actually have two interviews back to back - one med surg gero - and the other L&D, and I think we can all figure out which one I really want . I will let you know how it goes!!! Good luck everyone!
