  4. Hi all. Three of my friends got Scripps. One, interviewed on the 26--got offered personally from two different manager at two diff location (CV and Encinitas), second friend interviewed on the 30th, got offered from Mercy, the 3rd friend interviewed on dec 3rd, got two offers: Green and Encinitas. They all have BSN. They recieved a call either from ***** and *******. They have to make their decision by noon today....so whatever location they don't pick then that means it will be given to the next selected candidates. Good luck to all. I am a Sharp girl at heart. So far i have had lots of interview and turn down some offers...i'm waiting on Sharp :)
  5. HI B217, I think we share the same interview panel--I too had a female, a manager at Chula Vista, a female (a supervisor of PICU) and a male. The mgr from CV smile and asked me lots of questions...hard questions I've never heard of before. She also asked me what shift, if I'm able to work during the holiday, on wknd and night? IS this a positive sign? The rest was just too busy writing or reading something to look up at me. I was myself and even though i should have sell myself more....i didn't do it...i felt rush....the PICU supervisor actually gave me a hint to hurry up as she kept checking her watch hehehe. My interview took no more than 30mins and it was a great learning experience!!!

The above position is currently open as of today. I am a new grad with a BSN. I've applied for a PHN with my county in June, and it takes a long time to hear back. That's how the process is. I have an interview next week for the PHN position I've applied for since June! I hope i am not violating any posting rules of posting the job posting. If I do Administer pls remove/ edit my post as needed.
  7. Hi thebusiness, do you know when did Mary Birch called your friend?
  8. Hi! CONGRATS! I'm waiting for my call hehehe. What hospital did you pick and for what unit?
  9. Congrats on getting the job. I have an interview tomorrow and i am sooooooooo nervous. Where will you be working at and on what unit?
  10. I applied to every unit that I qualified for, and not qualified for :). i got a phone call within a few days after applying. PICU called me. I am thinking that I got a call because I'm trilingual (one of the language I speak is needed in this community) and currently i'm working with kids. According to the website, the hospital sounds awesome...i'm falling in love with the hospital!!! I live in San Diego, if I get an offer...i will take it.
  11. Hi! Yes. I've applied to many positions. I'm a new grad. I have an interview next wed. I am very excited for the opportunity, yet NERVOUS about the interview itself. I am very impressed with the hospital. I got offered to shadow an rn after the interview. I love their values and mission. The hospital fit my personality...my job is to convince them I am the perfect....i'll have to learn how to relax :)
  12. Hi. Anyone work at Central Children Hospital in Madera? Or had interview with them? Any insight to the place would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  13. I spoke with one of the Lead who does the selection. They get together on tuesday and go through every single application they received. We will hear from them within a few weeks. I too wish all of us luck. My dream job is working in L&D, and NICU! They are picking at least 6 for the NICU. I know for sure that for NICU you must have an BSN to even be considered.
  14. Sharp is selecting their interviewee today!!! I hope i am one of the many awesome candidates to be selected for an interview.
  15. At first i felt the same way about the interview process, but after doing a research on it i understand why and the rational behind it. It's innovative, risky, but has been proven effective. Palomar has zero dropout rate for their residency program. 1st impression counts! I am still upset at myself for my answers. I must learn how to control my nervousness. I can't wait to know the result.
