Good Morning, I don't know if there is another thread on this subject. I am asking for a friend who's looking into Nursing programs in the Central Florida Area. One of them is Keiser University's nursing program. She has heard from others, don't know who, that Keiser RN grads are "looked down upon". I have not heard anything about this. I would like to hear from any Keiser grads about this, and perhaps can debunk this, or anyone that has any knowledge about it. Thanks.

Hi. I am thinking of enlisting into the Navy Reserve to be a Hospital Corpsman. I am currently a Civilian Firefighter/Paramedic. Is it conceivable to work on my BSN while being a HM and later apply to be a BSN RN in the Navy Reserve? It is a simple transition to a commission? I don't know if I am committed to a contract as a HM for "x" number of years. Thanks.

Anyway, my question is to those both in the candidate process and those already commissioned, for a direct commission into the Navy Reserve Nurse Corps are candidates required to take the Officer Aptitude Rating (OAR) test just like the AD candidates going into Navy OCS? How many students does Brevard Community College's Nursing Program accept each cycle? I am aware that the Cocoa Campus starts in the Fall and the Palm Bay Campus starts in the Winter (January). Thanks.
