  1. Anyone who takes a look at the Fall 2008 schedules at any of the community colleges in Ca will find that 99% of the pre-requisite and nursing classes are FULL...CLOSED. Clearly there are a lot of people getting good nursing educations, and how can you beat $20 a unit?
  2. It's not free, but it's a 6 week program that can get you working pretty quickly. Try your local Red Cross.
  3. The Red Cross offers CNA training...check out your local chapter.
  4. Did anyone see Michelle Obama's speech last night? Now that is inspirational! Think of what CAN BE, and your fears will disappear!
  5. I'm a 48 year old MALE just starting out. Have a B.A. and 23 years previous experience in the banking and advertising industries.
  6. I think it has more to do with the concentration of gay males in the city where you're working. There are probably a lot more gay male nurses in San Francisco than in Des Moines.
