A Prayer for New and Returning Students
As I prepare myself for the beginning of a new semester, I must admit that I am a little nervous. I have been out of the academic setting since 2008 and I have been eagerly waiting for this day to come. Today, I am beginning my MSN-FNP through an online forum. The flexibility will require strict discipline but will also allow for the precious time I need to exercise my duties as wife, mother, nurse, church leader and daughter. As I prepare myself for this coming semester, I am praying for all of you going back to school and starting a new chapter in your lives. Dear gracious Lord, I come before you this morning praying for all of those new and returning students seeking to advance their education so that they may provide the best care to their patients. I pray for all of our struggles, whatever they may be. I pray that you will help motivate us when we grow tired and remind of of why we wanted to further our education. I pray for the time we will sacrifice from our families and the guiltiness we may feel. I pray for patience, clear thinking, and support of our loved ones. Dear Lord, help calm our nerves and direct our vision. Fill our hearts with enthusiasm and passion for learning and glorifying you Lord. In Christ name I ask all of these things , Amen! Best of luck and know that you are not alone!

So angry right now. Warning: Extremely long
I am so sorry for you and your family. Furthermore, I am disheartened by the injustice this hospital is putting your father though. I still believe that there are people that care and know that you are surrounded by love on this board. I offer my sincerest prayers to you and yours.

I took my exam 2 weeks ago. I passed with 166 questions. I kept thinking what an odd number. There were six in my class: 2 had 75 questions, 1 had 93 questions, 1 with 196 questions, 1 had 265 questions, and me with 166. We all passed!! Good luck!!!

I work nights. I have had as many as 12 pts with 1 LPN, 1 US, and 1 Tech. Nurses are becoming anxious about this issue, many are talking about leaving.
