  1. My daughter is interested in this program. She’s an LVN in CA, can you tell me how the clinical works? Cost?
  2. I’m currently in the program. FYI there’s only one person that handles ALL students 1st semester, 2nd semester and 4th semester plus applicants (there’s no 3rd semester due to covid right now). My advice is be PATIENT I know it’s hard but bothering her will only slow down the process. She’s dealing with ALL of us with no help. Good luck everyone.
  3. I got an acceptance for Spring 2022 as well. I didn’t apply, I applied for fall 2021 so I don’t know. Strange. Don’t know my points, I applied on a whim. I didn’t think I would get in because of my TEAS score.
  4. Hi, I’m starting a RN program this fall (not a bridge) I couldn’t get in to any bridge programs so I happily accepted a seat in a 2 yr. I’ve been an LVN for close to 11 years, I’m in a nursing boot camp class over the Summer and sometimes I don’t like I’m a nurse at all? My question is: How hard was your program? Was the LVN program harder? Was the bridge program what you thought it would be? (Sorry that was more than one question)
  5. I got it. I just wanted to update for future alternates that may be curious about their odds.
  6. I’m in that same situation. Hoping to get in.??
  7. What’s the cost? I’m scared of the answer ?
  8. Just curious...... Did you get in?
  9. I applied to LBCC and GWC. Anyone else waiting for other decisions?
  10. I’m number 6 so my hopes are not high (plus covid, they take less students). I’m still waiting for other schools.
  11. I got an alternate spot☹️ She’s sending out email s.
  12. I didn’t get that notification! Ugh so frustrating.
  13. Mine was in my inbox in canvas, LACCD email.
  14. I got an email saying my application moved to the next step. It was nice to finally hear from them??
  15. With all the applications they get, I don’t have high hopes. Whoever gets in hit the lottery, literally.
  16. Same! Last cycle they heard back (only to let you know your application advanced to the round) 4/4/20. So hopefully we’ll have the same timeline. Honestly, LASC is my best chance the rest are highly unlikely.
  17. Hi! I didn’t see a thread for us applicants yet so here we go! Who applied? We should be getting notification of whether or not our application moved to the next step. I’ve applied everywhere I can drive to. Isn’t LA brutal when it comes to RN programs? ??‍♀️
  18. Thanks! I saw that on the site. It doesn’t mention if we can apply for both programs. That’s what I wanted to know, I’ll wait for the info session.
  19. I’m applying, it’s a long shot though. Life Sciences GPA: 4.0 English & Math GPA: 4.0 Overall GPA 3.9 TEAS 91 Unfortunately none of this matters, it’s just luck.
  20. I’m applying February/March of 2021. Does anyone know if LVNs can apply to both bridge and generic? I’m doing the info session soon, just curious.
