  1. Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed.com has a lot of listings for RN's.
  2. Graduate Nurse was the most common listing I saw when I was looking for a position.
  3. I agree with shmaylay. Those were the books I used. Took the NCLEX with 75 q's and passed.
  4. Vinegar for the first wash only. Inside out, cold water setting, and low heat on the dryer. Do not used color safe bleach.
  5. National accreditation is given to trade schools. You should be looking for programs that are regionally accredited and the nursing program itself is NLN or CCNE accredited. The biggest impact on accreditation would happen when you pursue your education regionally accredited programs will not accept credits or a degree from a nationally accredited program.
  6. [color=#336699]compare florida nursing education programs i am currently in the ssc program and i have to disagree with vccorcc comment. in fact just check the fl doh website and you will see that in 2009 the pass rate was 93.38% ssc to 93.10% vcc and in 2008 87.26% ssc to 83.96%. http://www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa/nursing/nur_edu_info.html
  7. It is manageable. The schedule and clinicals change each semester but the norm would be classes on Monday and/or Tuesday, Labs on Wednesday or Thursday, and Clinicals over the weekend. Classes and lab are usually from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Clinicals for the first semester started at 3 - 11 PM and now they are scheduled from 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM. Good luck!
