Took NCLEX-PN today...
DanisTeeta, my state does not participate in quick results either. I took my test Jan 3rd, just got my results via the BON website for my state today Jan 9th. If you go there and enter your last name and last four of your ss# and the results have posted, and you passed your name will appear along with your brand new liscense number. Hope this helps you. God is good!!! Im still rejoicing. Thanks everyone and good luck to the those of you who are still waiting. Im sure it will be great news for you all!!!

FLIGHT2RN I pray you are right about that 95% passing when the computer cuts off at 85. I took the test Jan 3rd and am still waiting on the results. My test cut off at 87 and I felt that I had guessed on almost all of the question. I studied for hours at a time for several weeks before the test and it seems like all my questions were hard questions I had never seen before. Guess I will know soon....

Took NCLEX-PN today...
I am reading over everyones comment and trying to find a slither of hope for myself. I took the NCLEX PN on Jan 3rd and have been sick with worry, doubt and a terrible feeling that i only got 3 out of 87 questions right! I wish I could have scheduled my test at the beginning of the week because Im having to wait it out over the weekend. I have not been able to sleep, or eat much. I have cried , prayed and begged God to let me pass. It was nothing like any of the 3000 plus questions i studied for several weeks before the test. I felt like i guessed at all but 3 questions and two of them were math. I am a "nervous nellie" over here! If i happen to have passed it, all I can say is God loves me and knew I really needed a miracle!

Dr's children at pts bedside
Yes, we can understand the kids having to come to work with us at times. My oldest was with me a lot of times when he was a wee lad, had no choice, hubby worked two jobs. anyway but i never had to take hubby to work lol. guess the two jobs kept him too busy. hmmmmmmmmmmm!

Nursing without the "yukkies".
why is it that folks are trying to find an easy way into nursing (healthcare) dealing with body fluids, poop, pus ect. are not the worst things in the world to deal with. this job or should i say profession is just what its name says. NURSING.......and nursings means caring for the needs of someone, others, self etc. so if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. all those thing are part of the profession and there is no way around it, except to advoid it all together.

Nursing Home or Hospital?
:) hi fr33shot, i just read your post, and i am in almost the same situation. i am now doing cna training 100 hrs. our classes are mainly centered on nursing home work. i am wondering if i should work afterwards in nursing home or hospital? i will begin classes for surgical tech in january. since i will definately be in a hospital after completing that program i was leaning more on hospital work now. but like you i really wasn't sure and the shift was a problem also. someone adviced me to do the 11:00-7:00 shift part time and surgical tech classes during day. more easy on you (less work at night) that may be so, but it would be hard for me to get any rest during the day. have kids. so i think i will do morning shift or evening shift. yes i do believe nursing homes pay more, but the work is more also, pts need more help. i am going to work i think in nursing home. good luck
