LPN or be retrained
I would do the LPN route as well. Just in case u have to change jobs/locations/etc., you'll have this. Once u get this, start right away on your RN degree. Just a thought.

Are you in the EC program or are you in a traditional program? I'm currently enrolled in a Comm. College taking pre-reqs and statistics is req'd and I am really terrified to take it.

I'm sorry I can't help u w/ ur ? re: GA's laws, but I had a question about EC if u don't mind. What did u have to do with the clinical part to pass. I'm currently an LPN going to a traditional college for my RN degree. Just curious about EC.

Re: Holding a med d/t POA's request
The med was to help her sleep, but the POA stated when she took it in the hospital prior to her coming into the LTCF, it caused extreme agitation and sleeplessness. She stated the nurses did hold it and the pt. rested better. So her reasoning was that this med caused the opposite effects.
