  5. Global Health Nursing Training Services is accredited in VA for LPN. I am starting in January it is a full time program for 12months. Classes are Mon-Thur 8am to 2pm . The program is 11,000, however they currently have financial aid.....I went to the August orientation it was very organized the school is run by a NP. Who teaches most of the classes.
  6. Yeaaa for you Navy Dad your story is very:bow: motivational, I am 25 and embarking on a LPN career, it'll be a change in career to eventually become a RN. Don't laugh but I keep getting this strange feeling that I am too old..Dont know where that silly idea came from, thats probably how I ended up reading your story. (Just when you are about to give up God will put things right in your face) However God bless you, I am proud of you despite never meeting you. And your son is always in my prayers....
  7. Well Ms nathalyathaly you have truly been blessed!!!!Good for you !!!!!However in my situation I will just have to take on the work load head on. Our mortgage requires two incomes there is no skating around it. How is the workload????????????
  8. So did you find it unbearable. Because I have to keep my job working 40 hours a week
  9. Well for me I will be working 40hours a week evening shift. Although I have a spouse for help we have to keep extra bills to a bare minimum. Mortgage, car insurance, time share payment and loan payment thats it and of course regular house bills. This year with me being in school will probably be financial HELL!!!!Not mention were will I find time to study!!!!!I pray I make it!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I live in the dc area and my tuition is 11,000. Yes I believe that is too much!!!!
  11. Thanks it does give me some idea of the difficulty. I guess I have a lot on my plate to deal with. However anything that is important to you takes commitment and dedication, so I am officially ready to take on this challenge.
  12. I think my nervousness comes from the unknown I have no clue what I will be presented with? I just pray that I am able to keep up and continue to work.....I just want to know the difficulty level so I can be a little prepared......
  13. I am starting in two weeks August 4 to be exact. I am extremely nervous. I hope I can keep up with the work and still work full time.
  14. Hello to everyone. I am new to all nurses and very excited. I will begin LPN school in two weeks. This will begin my journey toward becoming a RN. I already have a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science and work in the stat lab in the Emergency Room. However in that career I won't be able to climb the "career" ladder, so I have decided to exit this career as soon as possible. Yes becoming a LPN I will take a major pay cut but I am looking at the bigger picture. I have a question for all the LPN's out there or current students. How hard is the program??????:bowingpur
  15. Was LPN school hard I will begin my program in two weeks. I am very nervous because I feel I have a lot on my plate. I just became a new home owner so I am in the process of moving and I must keep my job. Will it be extremely difficult..
